It was an epic game. Leafs were defensively elite. Bieksa must have been shopping for socks instead of watching game.
Help by the refs leafs did the same type of penalties like the bruins and no call
@@Mattoilers97 Cry some more
@@Mattoilers97 Strange what happens when the TML finally get the breaks, isn't it?
From Detroit, thrilling match. Not expecting this at all. This is why hockey is the best entertainment.
Top quality entertainment for those whose teams have advanced.
About the weird rule… How can teams ever pull the goalie? The play only ends if the offender touches the puck, so that leaves 4 others that can score in a now empty net if you pull the goalie. The play only stops if the offender touches it. Horrible idea.
More problems with the proposed role change: If play only ends when the player who committed the infraction touches the puck, that means you can't pull your goalie. A player on the penalized team that didn't commit the infraction could get the puck and fire on net. Also, it may not be clear which player committed the penalty.
Also too many BS calls when divers get their way, if penalties were more clear cut it would make more sense, but since from day to day we dont know what is and isnt a penalty, this idea is dead.
The delayed penalty thing you guys talked about made no sense - The play doesn't stop until the player who committed the foul touches the puck...So what if a teammate of that player touches the puck? The play is not stopped so he can shoot it into the empty net because the team that was going on to the powerplay would have pulled their goalie during the delayed penalty period.
That whole thing w Dubois' birthday is just freaky.
The delayed penalty idea is crazy.
The delayed penalty thing leaves unclear what happens when someone else on his team gets possession of the puck.
Ulmark would have stopped that Willy breakaway shot had he been in net. 🧐 😊
Bruins don't have offense. And Leafs are getting some game stealing GOALtending which give everyone the confidence. WOLL has been their best player so far. BUT NOW, we got ourselves are CHOKEOFF!!! Let's go... THE BETTER TEAM!!
some might say if it wasnt for sammy letting in soft goals things might be different. But holly WOLL. Thank you. I hope its Boston choking on a big bone.
38:50 well if that was the rule you wouldn’t pull the goalie in a delayed penalty situation. If the other team can touch the puck except for 1 guy they can just put the puck in your net… or alternatively If the other team can touch the puck all they want except for the 1 guy who’s getting the penalty then they can just leave him on the bench and the penalty never gets called…
Game 7 is going to be the game of who can choke harder. 😂
It's the Playoffs and 1-0 or 2-1 is an exceptable amount of goals at this time of year....goals are hard to score this time of year, ya only need one more then the other team,
while waiting for my Avs 2nd round matchup, the Leafs and Bruins never fail to keep me amused
No one cares
Tavares has stepped up, as even Stevie Wonder can see Boston is dreading deja vu. Another 3-1 choke job will cost people their jobs. As will another Game 7 loss. Popcorn and brewskis will be ready on Saturday night.
So either Boston blows a 3-1 lead or Toronto loses another game 7...Either way its a win
Also, Leafs seem to be better without Mathews...whats up with that?
@@chrisbrotsis9041 the other team just has to cover 1 guy, now it can come from anywhere.
So the players that didn't score were great and the guy who scored both of the teams goals were just doing his job. Great take haha
When you make $12 million you should be consistently good
silovs played an awesome 2 games. the 2 goals were nothing to do with him. the goal mouth scramble looks like he was pushed into the puck which pushed the puck in the net. i can see why they didn't challenge. canucks didn't get him any goals. ok with whoever starts game 6.
3 BEST NAMES FOR UTAH-N.H.L. HOCKEY TEAM,- YELLOW JACKETS,- BARRACUDAS, -GOLDEN EAGLES ,...!
I think Elliotte is a bit off, Slick Willy deserves some credit. He's paid for goals so it is expected that he will score, granted, but you don't win without goals whether they are expected or not.
Brown nose Willy a little more will ya?
I think Bowness will retire (I would in his shoes for sure - you don't have much time left Rick - enjoy it - do TV if you want to keep busy, or podcasting) and Craig Berube will be at least interviewed by the Jets and be their top choice - up to him if he (Berube) takes the job. As for Rob Blake, he's done. He totally messed up trading for and signing PLD and NOT getting a goalie.
Whos got an hour for this?
leafs gonna keep on leafing. after giving their fans some hope, leafs can't finish the job and bruins win handily in game 7. you can almost smell it.
Why do the Leafs play better without Matthew's than with him?
Honestly the most frustrating thing about this team. It’s like they just rely on Matthew’s too much when he is in.
@TheogRahoomie I think they also focus on him too much and try to get him the puck as often as possible, therefore missing other opportunities.
They should have some fear, no fear is foolish, because fate has intervened and ensured that the next team either the Leafs of Bruins will play is the Florida Panthers hahaha
Dead on about getting Adin Hill a Game 5 bc it paid off in 6.
That leafs bruins series has become a bore. I think panthers will destroy either team.
That was an ugly game by both teams. So many turnovers at the blue lines. You would show that game to your son as an example of how not to play.
Bruins are all smoke and mirrors overrated team
