_ About this channel_______________________
My name is flaui, I am from Germany and in my spare time I love to rebuild motorcycles like Honda VLX600, Kawasaki VN800 or Harley Davdsion Softail. Along the way I also film and edit to document my conversions for you.
On my channel you can see my conversions of the last years. I hope you like the content. If so, I would be very happy about a subscription, a thumb or even better a comment. Please write me in the comment field, which motorcycle I should rebuild next. I am always happy about feedback from you.
Ride safe and maybe we meet once for a beer at a motorcycle meeting.
_ The basis_________________________________
After many motorcycle modifications, I wanted to finally build a Frisco style chopper for myself, with which I can ride to rallys and which is reliable. Therefore, I chose a Harley Davidson Softail FLST with the Evolution engine, because they are very reliable and still have the Harley Davidson character. The Harley Davidson Softail 1998 with one of the last Evolution engines seemed to be the ideal base for my project. So I customized the bike from a tourer to a Frisco style chopper in about 4 months. I have to say I'm very happy with the result and I'm already looking forward to riding the bike at motorcycle rallys in the coming years.
_ Costs for the transformation______________
Harley Davidson FLSTC, 1998 (bought in 2020)
11,500 Euro
Costs for all parts, painting, and TÜV inspection
6,500 Euro
In total = 18.000 Euro
_ Time for the transformation______________
Approx 250 h
Mostly on the weekend or after work

    • @@bobberpsycho This is very impressive, I really admire your touch to the fine details. I have a custombuilt Harley myself, and to be honest, you gave me a lot of good ideas to things I want to change. Is the narrow front fork a bobber thing? And why not fit better brakes? These original Harley brakes hardly works... 😬

Ganz große Sache... einfach echt Klasse ! Danke, für die immense Mühe, & Arbeit, die das Video gemacht hat... ich habe selber kaum Schrauber gesehen, die soviel an Können drauf haben und so durchdacht customizen... Super, weiter so ! Bin total begeistert ;-) sehe es mir immer wieder an ;-) Grüße aus Sachsen !

  • Perfect stance! Love it. I've been building customs for 15 years and a couple things I always notice that people screw up is first the rear fender radius to the tire...man it just looks so amateur when it's out of radius from the tire. Also when I noticed you weren't hardtailing it, I was thinking here we go again, another wonky build. I was wrong. You nailed it. Flawless lines my friend! Liked and subbed!
