I watched the prototype being built many moons ago. The designer also had a Steen Skybolt, which is what I was building. I think I have pictures of the Kitten prototype under construction some where.

Such a fun machine. The funny thing is that although its looked at as a crappy little ultralight everyone had a story when they saw it about the ultralight that they used to have. One guy said he taught himself aerobatics on one just like it lol. they really are dream machines.

While the Rotax two strokes will run on 100LL avgas, it will have a tendency to foul the plugs, especially when idling inverted, better to run on 95 or even better 98 mogas. cheaper as well. Just be cautious of any ethanol mixes, not so much for the piston/cylinder, but it may affect parts of the carbi, fuel system or fuel tank.

I have been using 100LL in Rotax engines for decades, well over 1,500 flying hours. It is hands-down the best fuel you can ever use in these engines, despite what the manual says about "fouling the plugs" or causing whatever else. Modern automotive gas is ok, but I will keep using 100LL for as long as I fly.

I like your airplane but your sanity is suspect if you think that loud racket is music.

Take a perfectly good aviation video and make it unwatchable with " so called " music .
