I do not agree nor do I have pity for the ss but I will level with them and understand that a lot of them did not want to do it and they were just taking orders. Just like me in the army I don’t want to do certain things or feel certain ways about but you are trained and brainwashed to be exactly what they want you to be. I love my job in the army but I understand it has made me become something I never thought possible

  • The fact it’s being cocked multiple times and there’s no expenditure of the un used round says a lot about the military advisors on set

    @Britishgundogtraining@Britishgundogtraining Жыл бұрын
    • No. Just no. This error irks me too, but that is NOT down to their technical advisors. I find it much more likely, that the advisors pointed it out, but were ignored, or it was deemed too insignificant, or something most audiences wouldn't notice or care about. Prime example for this kind of ocurrence, would be the tech advisor for Fast & Furious. Go watch his video about how the directors twisted his advice into some of the bullshit that actually made it into the movies.

      @bibitta@bibitta Жыл бұрын
    • @@bibitta 100% intended to teach children. Nearly every person in public school throughout OR ID and WA watched this movie in school. As a teaching aid, before they were in 9th grade. It does a good job dramatizing the concept of Nazis.. You notice how their actions are over dramatized? Similar to star wars? This is a type of filming... Its not the like movie is old. This is 100% strategic connunication. Really important concepts... Actual events...Someones real... barbaric thoughts... are dramatized to allow US 6th graders to grasp the evilness nazis. Failed miserably... As every 24 year old American uses the word Nazi liberally.... Hahhaha what a pun... Oh man... Plenty of actual ww2 footage out there. This is in black and white why? To make it feel more historically accurate? Its pg13... Theres nothing historical about this.... It's intended to propagate emotions and ideas.... Propa...ga.. .. Never mind... It WAS apart of every 6th graders curriculum here in Washington. Not sure if it is now.

Their idea was it was a waste of a bullet as an Indian's life was not considered worth a bullet or the dignity of a quick death. He cocks and recocks both pistols and no round ejects. If you insert a loaded magazine into a weapon, cock the charging mechanism, then continue to work the charging mechanism, unfired rounds would eject each time until the magazine was empty.

There's truly good and innocent people in this world that go through unimaginable suffering at the hands of others, but God shrugs it off as "Meh, y'all got free will, sort it out, and in your pain just praise me and know that after your life, you will enter my paradise". We help those in need but it's not enough. Where the fuck is the lazy egomaniac?

  • This happened to my uncle. Waaaayyyy back in the day he used to work for KFC in South Africa, he was taking the safe money to the bank. As he got to the bank he was approached from behind, pistol whipped and put on his knees, the gun jammed, or the ammo was defective, not once, but 3 tries. First one was a click, racked, heard the unspent round hit the floor, rack, unspent round on the floor, click and then the guy just took the money and ran

  • This scene is acted perfectly towards the end by the SS guy. Germans joined the SS by free will and not only because they were fascist ideologes, but also because they were oppurtunists who where constantly on a power trip. They were psychopaths who wanted to feel powerful above all else. You can see the distress the actor shows when he doesn't have the ability to rule over life or death of other humans anymore. He can't comprehend it and falls into desparation.
