No. Just no. This error irks me too, but that is NOT down to their technical advisors. I find it much more likely, that the advisors pointed it out, but were ignored, or it was deemed too insignificant, or something most audiences wouldn't notice or care about. Prime example for this kind of ocurrence, would be the tech advisor for Fast & Furious. Go watch his video about how the directors twisted his advice into some of the bullshit that actually made it into the movies.

He cocks and recocks both pistols and no round ejects. If you insert a loaded magazine into a weapon, cock the charging mechanism, then continue to work the charging mechanism, unfired rounds would eject each time until the magazine was empty.

I heard stories of pow forced labor messing with artillery shells being manufactured for the germans. That tactic is still used to this very day. You can see it online in videos of terrorists dropping mortars in tubes only for them to immediately detonate, or watching people fire ak's that explode due to salted ammo.

I migth be wrong but to my knowledge pows weren't let anywhere near weapons or the manufacturing of them. They weren't stupid enough to do that. Edit: They did use forced laborers in their armament industry but that was towards the end of the war and in a small capacity.

I remember my 8th grade year asking my teacher if we would be watching this film the following year (freshman year). She had such an angry look on her face.... Began to tell me how they used to show it with parents approval but no longer were aloud. She wasnt mad at me for asking. She was mad because her job was to teach and by not showing us this movie she knew we'd never have even a grasp of how horrible the Holocaust was.

As he got to the bank he was approached from behind, pistol whipped and put on his knees, the gun jammed, or the ammo was defective, not once, but 3 tries. This scene is acted perfectly towards the end by the SS guy. Germans joined the SS by free will and not only because they were fascist ideologes, but also because they were oppurtunists who where constantly on a power trip. They were psychopaths who wanted to feel powerful above all else. You can see the distress the actor shows when he doesn't have the ability to rule over life or death of other humans anymore. He can't comprehend it and falls into desparation.

What really got me about this scene was the emotion in them all. Not that this scene had a lot of emotion, but it had none. What got me is that these guys had the emotion of someone shooting a hurt cow.

This happened to my uncle. Waaaayyyy back in the day he used to work for KFC in South Africa, he was taking the safe money to the bank. This scene is acted perfectly towards the end by the SS guy.
