    • My understanding is that none of these stage performers recorded the song. They were just front men and women lip syncing the song because they presented a better, more commercial image than the actual recording artist (don't recall their name). Years later, Milli Vanilli would suffer horrible consequences for doing the same.

    • Ur so lucky for living in the 80s! I was born 13th of may 2008 and never got to live in those times but I swear to god I lived some other life in the 80s or something I legit adore the 80s.     • Sorry must break this to you... They actually didn't sing live, they mostly performed. Only one of them was actually the vocalist, the rest including the male member made almost no vocal contributions to the group's records or very least. I loved them so much and still love their music today, but they were a production, and a successful one.

  • My earliest memory is hearing this being played by my now late father on his phonograph. I was always happy when I heard Boney M. I can even remember the album cover of them in blue, I think. They are the cool kids version of ABBA. Timeless.

Мы же выросли в другом измерении свободы : вы же с вашим комментом, по-моему, более позжего поколения с большим пессимизмом к этой жизни ... вдарьтесь в религию , современный Ислам , например(без радикализма) - может прояснится что-то в мировозрении вашем , да ?

    • @@maksimb1853 Вы неправы...На записях пластинок действительно до 1981 года звучит голос продюссера группы Фрэнка Фарриа вместо Бобби Фаррела.Дальше он пел сам.Модель и танцовщица Монтсеррат Мэйзи Уильямс не пела.Рот открывала).А вот Лиз Митчел и Марсия Баррет пели. На концертах все вокалисты пели своими голосами.

    • @@Arator70-x да, это так. Музыка отличная. В том плане, что она безукоризненно сделана. Над ней работали, и это чувствуется. Что пели всего 2 человека из группы и сам старина Фариан, так то стало быстро известно. Но такой уж у него был стиль работы. А скорее бизнеса. Что видеоряд не очень захватывающий - я согласен. Но мы в СССР его не видели. Мы его слышали. Я первый раз услышал эту тему в 1977 году. Мне было 6 лет. Вот реально - чуть с ума не сошел. Тема настолько пробивная, что сложно что то припомнить аналогичное по воздействию в то время. Разве что Donna Summer с песней I Feel Love . Вот эти 2 вещи меня тогда буквально вывернули наизнанку. Обычного советского первоклассника, который вдруг услышал подобный продукт. Так что отчасти правы все - и вроде как музыкальный продукт на высоте, и в то же время вынужден согласиться с товарищем, что десн-ряд, ну ни к черту...
