I am a huge Apple Watch fanboy and these reviews and recommendations are highly appreciated. I love the Apple Watch bands but at least I know I can purchase third party bands without the fear of it disconnecting accidentally from the Watch.
You never really mentioned the braided solo loop, this for me has been the most comfortable band and it’s the only band I use now. I have one I bought from AliExpress that I use for work and then another genuine one that came with the watch that I use out of work. It’s the only band I can use during sleep tracking.

Hi just wanna say I appreciate all the hard work you two put into the videos and have been very helpful for me. There is one thing I think might not be correct or clear, you mentioned the rhino shield crash guards for the watch but the series 6 versions don’t seem to fit the series 7 well. Did rhino shield make a series 7 since I don’t see any on their website?
no, they have not made them yet. As much as I love this channel. The title of this video is a lie. Many of the products that he has in this video are for the series 6 or older and he did not repurchase the accessories for the series 7. There are no tempered glass screen protectors available for the series 7 as of now. There is no crash guard nx from rhino shield let alone basically any accessory for the series 7. Most of the products on Amazon are rebranded series 6 accessories that do not fit the series 7 properly even though the listing says it should.

I love my MagSafe Duo Charger it’s my main charger I use. So I wonder how much different it is or if there is a difference when just charged the watch while I’m already using the usb-c portion

I've been using the ActivePro bands from Epic Watch Bands. Similar design to Nike Sports band, but with more color options and 1/2 the cost. No issues at all quality or fitment, and they've held up well. I'm not associated with the company, just a satisfied customer.

I will say I bought the Mifa watch band and it is my go to and very comfortable. The apple leather magnet one kept falling off and I don’t know why I had to return it .

I like the way you point out that reviewers give their opinions on things versus “influencers” which are (not your words) just mouths for hire. I’ll never understand how we went from my generation creating TiVo to skip ads to the current generation living to be an ad. Where did we go so wrong? Amazing video thought! Appreciate the time time you put into organizing it.
What makes you think we went wrong? I personally love being recommended good products that I would have not found otherwise. I imagine this is why older generations have zero clue about 90% of modern day products. They don’t watch ads, and then still think newspapers are relevant because of it.
For the FLOLAB glass screen protector, does the series 6 screen protector work? Because there only seems to be a series 6 version.

I bought a leather strap for my series 7 by a brand called "band works", it was spendy, about $105 but, it fits exactly as well as the apple bands but looks way better.
I bought the series 7 45mm gold with milanese loop and it is just amazing
I must have seen this review before I got the Apple Watch series 7 45mm. I picked the new green colour and the clover green band that comes with it is still neatly tied up in the box. I did pick a nylon, stretchy band and is it ever comfortable. I am the same as you explained regarding buckles and even the Apple clasps. I feel I am always scratching my MacBook, it has not happened, but it feels like it. I used to hook up to a stainless steel band and that has held up perfectly. I am still on the fence about these cases to protect the edges, I have one and took a shower with it. It did retain a little bit of moisture (placed on a paper towel to check). I think I am staying away from it for now. The band I am using right now is not going to be my forever band, but the one I want is on backorder.

I’ve got a S5 with rhinoshield crash guard. On the S7, does the case block the new larger screen that you are supposed to be able to see around the edge

I personally have a series 6, and use only a screen protector, nothing else cause cases imo are ugly
For screen protectors, I recommend staying away from the case with a tempered glass screen protector. Water can get into the case and it makes it hard to use the touch screen. If you need a bumper. Spigen has a nice bumper that doesn't add much weight to the watch and isn't bulky. I haven't had any issues with it popping off. The downside is it can be a little tricky to pop off and you need to take it off in order to switch bands. I have an LK TPU screen protector for my Series 7. It doesn't cover the curved edges but that really doesn't matter if you have a bumper on which will protect the curved edges anyways. The plus side is, you don't need to use extra force to use the touchscreen and you don't notice the outline from the screen protector. I can't at least.

You missed a big part of glass screen protectors. The ones with the black borders cover up the edge to edge display. Particularly the edge to edge watch face.

Thank you for your videos! I need this video as I just got a new Apple Watch series 7. I decided to mix and match because rhinoshield is out of stock on their 3D impact screen protector. I’m going with the rhinoshield bumper case and zagg glassfusion screen protector (they don’t have glass fusion plus on the site as of 01/2023. I was able to get both from their respective sites with a discount (paid $17 for rhinoshield case and $20 for zagg screen protector). I can’t wait to get them both and try them as I’m not using my new watch until I get both. I’m also investing in the apple Nike sport band for my watch because it’s main use will be for working in the hospital and working out (ie gym or playing basketball).
