Bivol won before the match started with his humble entrance in spite of him being the champion. Respect for this great 🇷🇺 fighter.

What people don't realize is that Billy Joe, Kovalev and Plant outboxed Canelo for most of their match but they just didn't have power or physical condition to threaten him. He's always had flaws in his game but his power in the latter stages always made up for it. This is why we say Ward beats Canelo, because Ward as a boxer is more skilled, technical and can take punches. This is why we say Prime Floyd wins because Prime Floyd is about 147-154 and Prime Canelo is 160-168, Floyd will be too fast and technical and he'll never fight Canelo at 158 and above. This is why we say Usyk wins, He's got the boxing skills, footwork and being naturally heavier he can take shots better. Skilled boxers has always been his weakness, but he usually KO's them late in the fight.

For a second before the decision was announced I thought we were going to get another boxing travesty. Thankfully I was mistaken and we got the right result albeit that the margin was far wider than the actual scorecards. Very impressed with Bivol, first time I've seen him fight and if they do it again I can see the same result. His defence was excellent and Canelo got well frustrated. Bivol didn't fall into any traps laid by Canelo and for the most part stayed off the ropes. An excellent performance.
Canelo only deserved the first two rounds, the rest should’ve gone to Bivol. Robbed Bivol a lot of points. Even so, happy for Bivol.

when I started seeing Canelo coming to fight weeks in silk pyjamas and gold watches I started to think that he might have lost a bit from his fighter's mindset. He might still train very hard and have talent but he doesn't seem to have the same energy as in both Golovkin fights for instancd. This entrance speaks of itself. I had Bivol winning 118-110. His hand speed, accuracy, foot work, defense and composure mixed with him able to mentally and physically break Canelo down is what won the fight for him by a big margin.
BIVOL had no aim to knockout Canelo. But once Canelo would decide for a rematch as per contract ...then BIVOL would use some of his aggressiveness like what he did to PASCAL....that may drop Canelo into the canvas!
