Is it possible? Yes. Is it fun? ehhh... But there are some valuable skills that can be learned in very light winds. These skills do take finesse and technique BUT mastering these skills in such light winds will make you a better, more effective kiteboarder.

My grandmother can launch a kite while standing in shallow water. Do that shit when you are in deep water.

masochism = fly a LEI in very lightwind....when your buddy has its flysurfer standing at the zenith until 5 knts....and still flying in 4knts....
