  • I just learned that the girl/women I hitchhiked across the Us when I was 15 and she was 14 in 1972, died last weekend died, and watched this, meant a lot more to me.

    • Im so so sorry for your loss there is nothing more painful than losing your best friend as its so shocking that they are gone at such a young age or any age come to think of it and if my maths is right i have dyscalculia so i maybe wrong but your friend was only 64 so she was still very young . I lost my best friend the day after his 21st birthday and it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through in my life. I think about him every day even though he died 25 years ago. Although you will always miss your friend it does get a little easier as time goes by. There is nothing I can say to make this any easier but I will say if you find yourself falling into a depression like I did please get help there are so many people who love and care for you who will help you get through the coming weeks and months. Remember the good times you had together celebrating her life, and omg you were crazy to go hitchhiking at such a young age alone I'm actually shocked your parents allowed you to do that !! it's frightening and your so lucky you weren't harmed in any way 😳 but I've gotta say I'm guessing you both had an amazing adventure together and loved every second of it. You were so very brave to do that and probably crazy with a we are invincible attitude lol I don't know any person of that age or any age who would do that, I know different times and different generation, different attitudes and different thought processes. Back then people went hitchhiking more often, hey back then people trusted each other and helped each other out more. It was a time when kids could go out and not come home till dark, kids biked for mile and never thought that anything bad could happen to them. Even I in the 80s would go out on my bike and go for miles and miles just to go swimming or meet with friends, or just go out for a ride out etc yet I'd never let my own kids do that lol please take care stay safe xx

  • The first time I was in Japan, in my 20s, by myself… I was walking past a chain link fence, hit a pinched nerve and my back went out. It was late at night, I grabbed the fence to ease myself down and this kind stranger who was walking the other direction ran back and sat with me, asking me questions in a language I didn’t know. I tried to tell him that I was OK, but he still sat with me and when I was ready to walk, he walked me to my apartment building. It was so kind and generous of him!~ I’ll never forget that Kind Stranger ❤

  • The neighbor playing violin for the locked down wedding made me sob my eyes out!! 😭 I'm shocked because I'm a dedicated lifelong single person because I don't believe in the "man-made institution" of marriage. I applaud those who can do it, they have my awe and respect, but I can't. How can you know at a young point in your life that you're making the best decision for the rest of your life? The younger I was, the stupider I was. Now I'm in my 50's and wiser, but I'm not interested anymore. I cried like a freaking baby for the beauty and love in that wedding!! What a lifetime memory!!😭😭😭😭😭

  • Mr Depp- as different as his lifestyle may be from most of us, he has the power to do so much good. When my son was in Children's hospital for quite some time, the quite famous local hockey team came to visit him in his room. Afterwards he said that it made the pain go away while they were there. It goes so much deeper than just making the kids happy, it gives them hope. And bless the famous people who take the time, and risk the emotions, to visit sick kids, it's not easy.

The cop saved his life at 5, but I think what the man did for the cop really made him realize how much of a positive impact he made on society. Despite all the horrific things he experienced, this guy now having a cute little girl because of him makes it all worth it. I had to stop and hear this story. He accepted my ride and offer of lunch and we tied this 10 foot cross to the top of my car. He told me his story and I was touched by him. • I remember when I was living in Nebraska in 2016 me and the woman I was with at the time were walking downtown and spotted a man digging through the garbage. We stopped and asked him “excuse me sir is everything ok?” He replied “no I’m looking for something to eat” so I looked at my lady with my eyes filling up with tears. Told the man to come have dinner with us, so we brought him into the restaurant and told him he could order the biggest thing on the menu so he could have food for later” this man had tears in his eyes and couldn’t thank us enough. I told him “there is no need to thank me, we all have to stick together and love one another” so he left with a hot meal and $100 for whatever it was he needed.

Some random video like this has popped up and I'm happy to see I may be wrong in my thoughts and realize that humanity does have a fighting chance thanks to some Great people still brave enough to believe in kindness without payment for it.

  • SO heartwarming. Loved the kids at 25:00 being accepting of each other. When i was about 9, i went to work with my ole man, he was a carpenter. He taught me many lessons, and to me, the most important one was; whenever you have to opportunity to help someone, do so,and do so without having your hand outstretched in return. That was 62 years ago, and i will always remember it. RIP Dad.

They're house was a bit out of their rules to reroute but the driver and specialist made it work. A few weeks later I got a Kindle HD Fire 10, Kindle Unlimited, and a 150 gift card from the team at Amazon that helped me and a nice email saying that they hoped I was feeling better! It made me so happy because I am chronically ill to have kind strangers do something for me because it doesn't usually happen!
