The way the boys talk about Niall makes me smile. If you don’t have one member that is carefree, funny and is loving life this band wouldn’t have worked. He had no ego and just went with the flow of things which is why all of them loved him and that to this day he is the one that tries to stay in touch with all of them. The world needs more Nialls.

He never said he hated being in 1D. He just said he never really wanted to be there once he realized they're not gonna accept any of his inputs and his style of music. He felt so controlled that he thought only food was the one thing he could control and basically starved himself. He had anxiety, which grew and grew towards the later years of the band. He had no creative outlet, no control over his life and schedule, so for a young adult that's too much to take in. So yeah, all that happened.

He felt so controlled that he thought only food was the one thing he could control and basically starved himself. He had anxiety, which grew and grew towards the later years of the band. He had no creative outlet, no control over his life and schedule, so for a young adult that's too much to take in. So yeah, all that happened.
