Boxing Men's Welter (69kg) Quater-Finals. Full Replay from the ExCeL - South Arena 2 at the London 2012 Olympic Games, 7 August 2012.
Boxing made its Olympic debut at the 1904 Games in St Louis, since then boxing has been staged at each edition of the Games, except in 1912 in Stockholm, owing to Swedish law, which forbade the practice.
The rules have evolved since the 1980s: 1984 in Los Angeles: protective helmet obligatory; 1992 in Barcelona: set-up of an electronic scoring system to strengthen the objectivity of refereeing; 2007: standardised point scoring. Women's boxing will make its debut at the 2012 London Games in London.

Alexis Vastine unfair judging , let earth be a blessing to him
Well done judges , you ruined alexis'life.
I'm watching this video because of the death of Alexis Vastine, the french boxer who suffered 2 massive injustices in 2008 and 2012 olympics. If this sport wasn't so corrupted, Alexis should may be alive with 2 olympic titles rather to participate to this Reality TV show in Argentina. Shame and RIP
i dont know him, but he definitely won the fight
18:27 One broke my dream... RIP Alexis Vastine :(
Pierre Allain hey, may I ask what happened to this Alexis Vastine guy? I was watching the fight, and he clearly and easily outboxed the Ukrainian...
Murri16 Alexis was a French boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Light Welterweight division. He also competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals in a controversial decision. He died in the Villa Castelli helicopter collision during the filming of French TV reality show Dropped. In 2008, Vastine was robbed of his place in the final also... Check wikipedia maybe ;)
Alexis je deviendrais champion du monde pour toi !
On pense toujours à toi Alexis 🌹
Alexis, en 2021 on t'oublie pas
Poor Alexis :/ he was much better than the Ukrainian, RIP champion. repose en paix mon frère
Injustices can "kill", for real.
What a shame Alexis clearly deserved the win
They ruined his life...
R.I.P Champ
18:25 RiP homie ❤🇪🇺
I remember like yesterday. I cryyyyyyy
54:55
Frace was the winner.
Freddie Evans with the stiff pawing stiff arms... No calls by the ref. Must be nice to fight in your home country.
What's wrong with the sound? The sound on the wrong of 16 was like this too. I can barely hear the commentators.
So many robberies its sad its really a wonder how Lomachenko finished with a 396-1 record while getting 1 fight overturned a day later.
Alexis Vastine... Le scandale intégral...
ROBBERY
38:00
They ruined the beauty of sports. Just what happened to a Filipino boxer lost to finals against a Bulgarian boxer in Atlanta Olympic.
Alexis 2024 on pense à toi frérot 😢
16-11 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️it was closer than that Errol
Gallagher makes me comeback today. He is the irish judge who sold his soul...again & awarded Tishchenko Vs Levit today In RIO2016... same Judge same result
They robbed Errol spence jr smh
Pray for vastine
1/8
The clash of styles between amateur and pro is pretty evident. Clayton would ruin Evans in a pro fight, but he looks like a green fighter against Evans in this amateur fight.
Evans was outbox him there as well Evans would have been world champion as a pro if it wasn’t for time in jail and general lack of discipline
Hi
🇰🇿👍
This is boxing that is why Olympic is banning boxing ..it was Alexis's perpect win against Ukraine 😢😢
Vous devriez avoir honte de poster çà sur KZhead vous êtes des corrompus !!!
Shame on you!
Украинец под Лому косит конкретно
