Pokey must rememerb when he was an abandoned kitten himself, and he's paying it forward. Some people think animals have no compassion, no empathy, but they certainly do.
Pokey's a wonderful single father.
Kitten:
Pokey: So where are the new batch
Pokey: "He may have been your father, boy. But he wasn't your daddy."
Our cat learned to ring the doorbell - which was so incredibly creepy in the beginning. XD Imagine hearing the doorbell in the middle of the night to find your cat sitting in your frontyard.
Pokey is wonderful but can we just say how great these humans are.
"That's some nice glassware you got up on that shelf. Be a real shame if you didn't bring some more kittens and somthin' was to happen to 'em".

This cat is someone who needs something to do, he needs a job, and evidently he is very good at it
Mom: "We now specialize in singletons."

Pokey: I never had a parent. So let me be yours!
Pokey is still afraid of being alone and abandoned. Even though he has great parents, the fear is still there. The new kittens are his coping mechanism.
We adopted our first foster and he was the perfect companion for every foster after him. He seemed to be whatever they needed whether it was affection or space, rough housing or snuggling. It was pretty magical.
"Is Pokey accepting new kittens?" That's so funny, I love it! What a great cat!
Maybe he uses his own experience with other cats. He knows how difficult is being alone, he treats them the way he wanted when he was little. =)
Most cats get into hissy fits and take a while to adjust ti new members. Pokey is just so special ❤ that he has big heart for fostering kittens 🐈⬛ in need! Love 💕 it!
I love what these people are doing. Fostering kittens is so necessary! I would find it hard to let go of them.
