Great thorough review. Thanks. I had a bad experience with MSC on a booking I had to cancel but still intrigued with the new ship so thanks for the room tour pro's and cons
Thank you for your honest review I just booked thanks to your video ☺️☺️☺️
I've seen your videos on the Garmin Zumo and on your Goldwing. I'm a big motorcycle guy.
We went on the Mergavilla for a 4 night cruise. We had a balcony stateroom which looked exactly like that except we were on the area next to the lift so our balcony was a bit bigger. We also found that the lights flickered from the humidity which was fun! MHO We just booked another cruise with MSC on the Seashore for 4th of July. We decided to try the Aurea experience. We are looking forward to seeing the difference!
Are the wall magnetic?
Love your content and videos. FYI the cr on the left of the screen is too big.
Hi I love your reviews, We have been cruising since 1999. Now we’ve grown into the ship within a ship concept, at our stage in life we like the less crows, better service. With that said my husband surprised me with an MSC cruise for my birthday we’re doing the Yacht Club suite, on the Seaside. Have you done the Yacht Club? December we’re booked on the Celebrity Apex Sky suite looking forward to that. Again thank you for your videos. Rose
this will be my second cruise, the first was Celebrity that was 5 Stars! but my next cruise is in April 28 on MSC because that balcony room the price you just couldn’t beat compared to other ships! I suppose that’s the joy of living! Cruises are like a little piece of heaven!😊
On the Merevilgia, the light switches on those nightlights by the bed were touch-sensitive, so any humidity would cause them to flicker if we had the balcony door open.
Interesting.
Great review! I booked a “Bella” balcony stateroom for honeymoon on July 2022 at 10th deck. Do you have any tips for me before sailing? The stateroom that I booked is it the same that you reviewed? Thanks
I would pre-book the specialty restaurants if you can, they fill up very quickly.
I guess you get what you pay for! because I was on Celebrity Cruise for 5 days and that was 5 Stars! those rooms are fully equipped! I would have loved to travel Celebrity again but MSC you just could not beat that balcony price! the balcony prices on Celebrity and other Cruiselines were in the $1000 price range. which explains why I had to settle for a cabin room on Celebrity. I’m not too picky except when it comes to food & desserts 🍮 I enjoy good eating. I agree, the rooms on MSC should have the basics, towels & Kleenex because we ultimately pay for those things considering the price of the cruise. I will be traveling on MSC my first time April 28 this year and I’m very excited! the ship is very elegant and for the price it’s was hard to beat for a 7 day balcony cruise.
Could you please share a link where you got vlogging tripod or whatever that is. Thank you. 😊
I use the Insta360 tripod. amzn.to/3USfHsI
Do you know if there are Pullman beds ?? My concierge says mine has a Pullman bed? But it also has a sofa… sounds … it’s a fantastica balcony suite for 4 ?
Sorry, I do not know.
On Royal WOS boardwalk balcony deck 14 beginning at 5:30 am you can hear rolling carts from the Windjammer cafe.
Hate that. We always try to avoid a stateroom under the pool or buffet for that reason.
I do not understand why the TV is front of sofa and not front of tv.
Sailing on Seashore Dec 3rd 2023
Is cabin 14289 on Seashore a wrap around balcony?
Nina, I could not say. I would look at the deck plan on the MSC website.
Which room # were you in .. deck 15 mid ship
Ok saw the number on watching the vid the second time 😂
Was they bella or fantactica
I have no idea.
Rather be cold than hot. I thought you were definitely going to say that it was hot.
Lack of tissue sucks. I've heard this complaint about MSC elsewhere. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that finds using toilet paper for relieving nasal congestion gross. I can't stand it.
On my 3 sailings with MSC you had to ask for them.
The cabin layouts. Most cabins are side-by-side with cabin doors in corridor in pairs, for instance left cabin has the bathroom on the left, the bed is closer to the bathroom & sofa next to the balcony: right cabin is opposite with bathroom is on the right, sofa next to the bathroom and bed next to the balcony. Each pair of cabins are designed as so. Next time when you have the chance and you see the cabin steward making up 2 cabins next to each other, you'll see what I'm talking about.
Sounds like how NCL set their cabins up, except it was the one on the left that had the bed by the balcony, not the one on the right.
First time on MSC?
No. This was our third.
@@CruiseReport Nice! We have been on Divina 3X and Seaside twice. We have found the Aurea experience to be a great fit for us, although we hope to try YC someday. Looking at Seashore for May. Trying to figure out which Aurea to pick.
Tissues and face towels are supplied by the cabin steward when you ask. MSC believes tissues will clog toilets that is why they are supplied on a as needed basis, if that makes sense.
