  • Squirrel videos, when you absolutely, positively, indisputably can't stomach the crap going on in the world anymore!

  • I loved watching this video. I've been fascinated by watching Squirrels since I was a little kid. Some years ago I lived on a big estate with tall trees. One day I was sitting in the yard and I heard a Hawk cry and a Squirrel's loud noise at the same time. I looked up to see a red tail Hawk flying away with a Squirrel in its talons that it had just grabbed from an Ash tree branch about 70' feet up. The Squirrel was screaming and wriggling around madly. The Squirrel finally fell from the Hawk's grip and landed on my lawn. I thought that it was dead but after about a minute the little guy stood up and slowly looked around 360 degrees. He saw me and looked at me for a while then did another faster 360 look around and then he gazed at me again for a while. Then he scurried off into the bushes. I felt sorry for the little guy so a left him a big pile of shelled walnuts and a bowl of water at the edge of my patio. When I came back home the nuts were all gone. Then later, I noticed that a Squirrel would be waiting for me at the end of my driveway when I came home from work and it would race alongside of my car as I drove down the driveway and at the end where I parked there was a maple tree and he would beat me to the tree and run up the tree real fast just ahead so I could see him. He did that day after day and my driveway was 400' long so that was no little sprint for the Squirrel. Then later I was out in the yard picking Wine Cap mushrooms from a wood chip bed to cook and I noticed a squirrel watching me. I brought the mushrooms inside and then went back out and then found a Russula mushroom in the grass. I picked it and tossed it toward the Squirrel since I knew that they could eat them. I walked more and found another Russula and the Squirrel had followed me and it was even closer so I tossed the next one to him as well. On another day there were more Russulas sprouting but no Squirrel in sight so I gathered a bunch of them and left them in a pile at the edge of my patio where I had previously left the walnuts. And the next time I looked they were all gone.

  • I recently raised 2 orphaned baby squirrels. I’d never really liked squirrels before, but these 2 little monsters changed my mind. They are very clever problem solvers, and very acrobatic. These have talons that would make Freddy Krueger jealous. I called my babies The Krugerettes, but they did adapt to my lack of fur and the scratches and cuts decreased. Those talons are their secret weapon when it comes to the amazing jumps and ability to climb just about anything. I now have to carry nuts with me whenever I go outside. The male will meet me at the car and demand a cuddle and a nut. The cuddle is negotiable, the nut is not. Good luck outsmarting them, and thanks for not hurting them.

  • If those little critters ever decide to cooperate and work as a team they might be our new overlords. At least, they are so cute.❤❤

  • It sure is fun to watch these project/experiments unfold and amazing how these squirrels adapt and overcome. The work they put in for free food. 🤣

  • Wow couple of them really went at it. Rolling all over the place fighting. It really amazes me how determined they are to get through these obstacles. You would think they would give up. The pole dancing squirrels are pretty amusing to watch.
