Damn the Pats had this game, but Jones played great so it's fine. I expect them to win next week
I expect to not see Damien Harris on the field for at least the next 2 games
@@jaedenjones2231 well we traded Michel and our other power RB Rhamondre also fumbled so Harris has to play
Both QBs looked quite good. They both played better than Josh Allen.
Against the Jets, they better win. If not Bill is gone. Ahah
@@patpatriotfootball Stevenson didn’t choke up the game winning drive. I expect to see him and white play the entire game next week
Tua’s arm looks stronger this year
With a good O-line he could be great this season can’t wait to watch him progress
If he has a strong arm then he needs to start throwing those deep balls in stride and avoid having the receivers come back for a jump ball. He kept under throwing them
@Honoré Pere what did you see?
Absolute BS,i'm a fins fan and Tua gets no power on the ball at all. It just kind of floats in the air with no zip. Did you guys see Kyler Murray throw the ball today? Tua will never be in his league ever nor in Justin Herbert's league for that matter.
@@ekkerslovarkia2726 than you a garbage fan for that matter
What the hell is #52 supposed to do with that “roughing the passer” call? Not tackle the QB if he falls on accident they shouldn’t call that. He had no control
He is suppose to be professional, get up and focus on the next play. Which he did. And even though you can see it caused him to hold back a few plays later, I believe he knows that he made a great play and simply got a bad call.
Maybe not lose control of himself and go directly at a quarterbacks knees
He has no choice but to try to get up and get to at least the waist. In the pocket, below the waist is a no no. Not entirely his fault but that is the rule. You can only grab a QBs legs to make a tackle if they are outside the pocket.
The roughing penality agaisnt Roberts is BS
The fumble was bs also. A bunch of bad calls. But it's week 1 the refs won't get any better lol
That was an amazing play by him as well! These pats fans calling bs on a fumble on a reviewed play 😂 dude the refs blew the ball dead on miami on a free play. Foxborough is known for this kind a bull. No room to talk.
Worst call of the week,.Especially since Mac Jones had his back to the play and his knees weren't an issue,.
I still expect the Patriots to make a case for the playoffs. They may not make it but they almost beat arguably one of the best defenses in the league
Not too impressed with the New England offense with Jones under center. Their defense needs to a lot of the heavy-lifting to get them to the postseason. And, the AFC North looks nasty this season.
@@flash012234 offense as in run game right? The Patriots did better on offense than the dolphins. Just the dolphins were making key stops and we had to settle for field goals
17 games with a rookie QB, good luck.
@@kwhitevuu99 Thanks, when we almost but most likely won’t make the playoffs I’ll message you back
It’s the first game of the season wait tell the Defense gets rolling Like last year
PHINS up o line struggled tua looked good i am happy
Both Mac and Tua looked good in this game. Both of them showed alot with alot of potential to improve upon as they gain experience
A Love Miami Im so happy they 1-0 next 2-0
Mac Jones was the best out of all the rookies. He was the most consistent. He played a team that is actually good and almost won. I expect a lot from him
Wasn't touched all game.
@@stephanea5364 Ikr he did great in the pocket
@@stephanea5364 You clearly didn’t watch the game. He made multiple throws staring down the barrel at a free runner, taking the hit and still dropping dimes
Again, how many failed end zone trips??
@@colmodriscoll33 that we’re due to fumbles and penalties that wasn’t his fault?
This was an amazing game. As a Patriots fan seeing Mac Jones step up and do that good and look that calm and confident is extremely awesome. Just had a tough break with that fumble at the end. As the season goes on and they get better together I could see playoffs easily.
"We wouldn't take you back, even if you wanted." "Yeah, you would." "You're right, we would."
the Pats are doing better, stood toe to toe with Dallas and Tampa.... rebuilding ~~ the Dolphins meanwhile only won this game by a point and lost to the Jags
Well Bill good luck on your season
QBR Tua 79.6 Mac 102.6 Harris lost the game with that fumble
QBR is a dumb stat
Give Tua Macs Offense.
Keep the QBR,I’ll take the W.
Give Mac tua's oline
Dolphins won, Patriots lost, that's the only stat that matters
Great Game by both teams, can't wait for the rematch!
A question for the wise: Since there are 17 regular schedule games in the season now, does that make for 3 byes per team per season? There were 2 byes for a 16 game season (or 18 weeks of play), but i never watch tv or attend the games, so i don't know the new season is like(?). And if there are 17 games and 3 byes weekends, that would make the regular NFL football playing season 20 weeks long, so then, when would the season end (before the playoffs)? Thank you!
I love how every analyst says Tua is a bust. Like Brady has never scored 17 or less points on an away game.
I'm guilty of it myself. Love you Tua ❣
He took cam Newton’s cadence before hikes haha
I’ve noticed that too LOL
Whatever anyone says, I love Mac's pocket presence and throwing mechanics! I do agree, tho, we can't be super conservative in the end zone! Need to go for that winning TD in the air!
Two former Bama QB greats going head to head, and both couldn’t be more different. Tua is the athletic playmaker in the Vick/Lamar Jackson mold, while Jones is the classic dropback passer. Hopefully we’ll see these two on these teams for the next decade or so.
Gaskin is going to have a helluva yr, looked solid
Pats had the win in the bag. Just too many penalties and fumbles. Bill won’t be happy about that
Facts
Bill did that to himself.
@@stephanea5364 Explain
Probably his least favorite ways to lose. Penalties and fumbles.
@@Sammy-wb6fl He had Brady, he pushed him out the door, With Brady today, the Dolphins lose 30-17.
all these people saying mac jones looked good? all he threw was wide open crossing routes and RB wheel and dump routes, i don't get the praise at all
True, it’s just that the Dolphins defense kept missing tackles
That’s what I’m saying and I think he needs to learn how to move When the pockets collapsing.
Dolphins had a top 6 defense last year. He made some decent long throws when needed. He just took whatever the defense gave him and made the most of his opportunities. It’s his first professional game lol you’re expecting too much from a rookie in his first game vs a top 6 defense
Mac looked good. Damn was his first game. Kid was a 3 star qb coming out of high school. Think he did pretty well considering.
@Clay, I’ve got ZERO problem with Mac throwing 10-15 yard passes to wide open receivers. Brady made a living for 20 years doing exactly that. Brady’s oft-stated “favorite receiver”? _”whoever is open”_
I can see NE's practices this week...BALL HANDLING drills....lol sorry to see Mac's 1st game a loss, but a young team, rookie qutrbk, I saw a lot of great things today, i'm excited for Pats new team and season..they young, they gonna have a few misques
6:48 that throw by Mac 🔥
Nick Saban's staff has three starting quarterbacks in the league now: Hurts/Philly; Tua/Miami; and Jones/NE.
Remember Nick Saban Came From The Miami Dolphins.
Not to take away from Saban..But... The U still put more Runningbacks n Tightends in the NFL as First round draft picks at that..
All part of Saban’s plan to take over the NFL. XD
Newton beat this same team exactly a year ago and ain't have nearly as many weapons as Mac did, but that's none of my business.
Was Cam going to stop Damien from fumbling?
totally agree
its Mac's first nfl game as a rookie bruh ,and if it wasn't for Damien Harris fumbling patriots would've probably won lol
and missed the playoffs
@@xmontovanillix Yet still the Pats beat the whack Phins with Cam and no weapons. You bigoted pats fans hate the truth which is why you changed the subject with a remark about the playoffs. Cam still beat the Phins with 5 weeks of preparation last year so eat it.

Can someone explain to me how at 4:00 it was a flag for roughing the passer. The qb didn’t throw the ball yet and it was a clean tackle. I’m confused
The NFL is desperate to keep their cash cows on the field, so they will water down the sport until it doesnt resemble what once made it great
