What do you need to make bath bombs?
Eco Plastic Bath Bomb: bit.ly/3GJYlZ3
4.5oz Sodium Bicarbonate (75%): bit.ly/3nRTg8n
1.5oz Citric Acid (25%): bit.ly/3nOz4Ep
.05oz Polysorbate: bit.ly/3bzFl0T
.1oz Rainbow Eucalyptus + Peppermint: bit.ly/3w7HBGl
1ml Rosehip oil: bit.ly/3w7s8pA
Emerald Eco Glitter: bit.ly/3jZGaoB
Lavender buds: bit.ly/3bA1Hzn
Instructions:
Combine baking soda and citric acid. Wear gloves for manicure. Mix polysorbate and fragrance. Smash in hands until clumping. Spray with witch hazel as needed. Press into mold. Mound a little extra powder in the center of each half of the mold. Wipe away any powder from the seams of the mold, match the eyelets of each side up, and press together. To avoid any imperfections on your bath bomb, make sure to direct pressure to the edges of the mold rather than the center. Continue filling up the bath bomb molds until the mixture is gone. Allow to harden 24hrs and sprinkle with glitter.

  • Is the rosehip oil necessary for the bathbomb? It is currently out of stock for the 2 oz and I'm wondering if I can get away with it. Or, can I substitute the rosehip oil with any of the other oils listed on such as the argan or avocado?

    • Hi there! We are so sorry for the delayed response. Your comment got buried! Yes you can absolutely substitute with whatever oil you choose.

  • Can you suggest any way of adding natural colour to the bath bombs like beet root powder, turmeric, etc?

    • Yes! You can eco glitters or natural powders and experiment to see what % makes the colors you want :) makesy.com/products/natural-powders-discovery-kit?_pos=1&_sid=218a26849&_ss=r

  • It is good to specify you are using Polysorbate 20 as there are other grades :-)

  • Is sodium bicarbonate considered natural?

    • Yes! Sodium bicarbonate is baking soda. It's a natural mineral form in nahcolite deposits.

  • Is polysorbate considered “all natural”?

    @hellobushyl@hellobushyl2 жыл бұрын
    • Polysorbate is derived from sorbitol, which is a natural ingredient, but because of the treatment of the product with ethyl oxide, Polysorbate is not considered natural. If you choose to, you may omit Polysorbate from your Bath Bomb formulations!

  • I thought natural meant no fragrance.

    • Thanks for reaching out! Natural simply means that the components in the bath bomb are all natural. We have a variety of natural fragrances or you can use essential oils in your bath bombs.

    • It's not natural as it has polysorbate in it also, as that is a synthetic emulsifier. That is why it is so important to never rely on what people say, but instead learn all you can so that you know what is going on your skin/ in your body 😊
