  • This is so sad, Miley keeps trying to remain positive while explaining this lady how she has conquered her fears to be who she truly is, and that grandma only dismisses her experiences to the fact that she didnt had clothes on. And I believe that is what happens to her all the time, instead of looking at the bigger picture (the charities she is supporting, the fact that now she is confident in her own skin), people still talk about her hair being so short, or her clothes being so tight. SHe is trying so hard to stick to her decisions because they came from a good place, and everyone makes it so difficult. I really like her, and can relate a lot to her. YOU GO MILEY!!

  • No, Barbara...being in love isn't living in fear that without that person you don't know who you are; that's called losing your identity and sense of self, and it certainly shouldn't be the basis of a marriage. When you're in love, the other person brings out the best in you; you shouldn't feel you have to give up parts of yourself or your identity in order to love someone or "secure" them in marriage.

    • I’m sorry but we’re gonna have to disagree, when you get something good, there’s always a price you gotta pay. When you meet someone you end up falling in love with you’ll will see bad sides to them, that’s human nature. Love is love, not infatuation. That’s why most relationships fail in this generation bc when people get a dose of the bad side of their significant other they quickly give up and walk out and find someone else who they think will meet their standards little do they realize no matter who they meet the relationship with every person that comes along won’t be perfect. There will be flaws, pain, when in a relationship you’re suppose to be there through thick and thin and take the good with the bad. If you really love that person you will except them and help them grow with you. Not just run away bc they made a stupid mistake. People mess up its life, now I get if your life is in danger then yes run for the hills. But no relationship is going to be always sunshine and unicorns

I know that she is in the wrong at times, but the way she answers the questions so articulately and calmly is impressive and she is definitely not that stupid of a girl. Clearly we can all agree that her VMA performance and dress attire and such all had a method to it and WERE to shock people. Clearly it worked, and to her advantage, haters or no haters to it. It wasn't the noblest way to make a comeback in the music industry but it definitely worked. Sad how so many singers are pressured to shake their asses for more attention. When people say that this is who she really is and that that needs to be respected, I'm not so sure. But she also seems to just be having a good time because she is young and rich. I never thought of Miley as a big deal but the way she handles herself is admirable I think and she is a strong person more or less.

She is far away from being degenerated like Justin Bieber. She is smoking pot.. so what? She's a strong, confident lady. Everything's OK.

    @chettee@chettee10 жыл бұрын
    • What's the problem?! She seems happy now you're right with that, but let me tell you, she won't be if she keeps doing things like this. SHE DOESN'T NEED this. She's a great woman and a great singer, and whoever made her believe that to be famous( well to be that famous) you have to act like a bitch in concerts and public awards is really wrong. She will be remembered for all her scandalous things and not because of her talent, and that's really such a shame.

    • Noelia Parra García The whole world is talking about her. So there is something she is doing right. Outside the USA she is more popular than ever before. Even rock oriented people or critics like those from Rolling Stone Magazine say that "Wrecking Ball" is a great song. She isn't only recognized by teenage girls anymore. I don't need to see her getting f*** by Robin Thicke on stage... but she is cool and isn't Hannah Montana anymore. As long as she didn't show her pussy in public, leak a porn movie or hanging around with Charlie Sheen, everthing is OK. Relax.

      @chettee@chettee10 жыл бұрын
    • I'm not saying "Wrecking Ball" isn't a good song, because I'm no a fan of her, and I really like that song. All I'm saying is that besides she's a good singer, she's destroying her image, like no one else, there are lots of Disney stars that didn't do all this things, and they still have a very nice place in music industry. You may like her or not, but in my most honest and kind way of saying this, talent doesn't come out by licking a hammer o doing some porn dances in a car, or smoking weed. Just saying, my honest opinion.

  • She actually has a good voice so who cares what she wears or what she does? She's an entertainer and her job is to entertain people, which she does well. She's provocative (in a good way), unapologetic and makes millions. I say, you go girl!

    @witch8072@witch807210 жыл бұрын
    • The problem is that she is also a role model for thousands of girls who watched her progress from a children's tv star to what she is now. It may work for her, but it is not a healthy to encourage a generation of girls that the best way to make people like and listen to you is to take all your clothes off and act inappropriate and provocatively. She has a lot of influence due to her previous role as a mainstream tv star to children. And this whole thing is simply highlighting the standards the music industry have for women - they should be focusing on the music and the voice, like you said, instead of encouraging all the women (miley, beyonce, rihanna) to remove their clothes. And just look at mens' music videos, its full of half naked or almost naked women dancing around them provocatively too. its not music they are selling anymore in mainstream, its sex :/ and That is why at least some people care. :)

Miley was an adult & she is not responsible for raising anybodies kids. She grew up just like every other celebrity did. Did you expect her to keep singing kids songs after she left hannah montanna? Us girls weren’t even listening to that once hannah montanna was over. We were already listening to music and watching music videos similar to mileys - Kesha, nicki Minaj, rihanna etc , you cant tell me that they weren’t doing the same thing? Miley just did what everyone else was doing but she got h*ng for it & that was really unfair. I’ve been a fan of hers for pretty much my entire life & I think she’s a smart & beautiful person. And I wish the interviewer stopped focusing on her clothes. Many of her questions were about her 'modesty' when it comes to her attire and I feel like Miley had to plaster on a smile and answer politely (she's on an interview, dur) instead of snapping and asking the interviewer whether she'd change her fashion sense.

She is pushing boundaries with herself and her music and at the end of the day, EVERYBODY talked about her this year, which is the only way to really judge your success in this world. BTW, Barbara really needs to quit this shit now. Listening to this interview was like a young person talking to their great grandmother. I kept waiting for Barbz to ask her questions like, "Are you getting enough iron in your diet? You don't look like you are eating enough. What ever happened to that nice boy Liam? Where did I put my glasses?"

  • I like when Miley talks, she still a pretty inteligent girl!

    • Of course she's intelligent. She's more intelligent than most people in in that business because she pushes the limit of what is perceived acceptable and decent in our society. She's like a pseudo-sociologist in a way. She just likes messing with ignorant people, and most people are ignorant/stuck in their box.

    • I don't feel it that way. To me she is the same girl with a different look. She even act in the same way. In the music industry she is smart because she does things to get people's attention and she is saying it on our faces but people want to believe that she is different.

  • I think Miley is very inspiring, because she shows us that we can always change, when we are not statisfied with who we are even if we are out of puberty. I admire her for her new strong personality even if it's not that kind of personality everybody likes. But no matter what it is her life and she should do what she wants to do despite of people slagging.
