  • I have been working on processing plants for the last 6 years particularly on turn arounds and shutdown schedules. During tie-in works, conventional RT is always the cause of delays. This new digital technology will reduce downtime during urgents times.

  • I would like to do RTR but I'm stuck in conventional... it's getting old. Might just study for PAUT certs and leave RT in the dust.

  • My question is the operator a Registered Radiological Technologist? Many states REQUIRE anyone using ionizing radiation be certified by the American Association of Radiological Technologist and be compliant with all Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards of continuing education. #ARRT, #ASRT, #GSRT, #TXSRT

    @williamlee3628@williamlee36283 жыл бұрын
    • No. This certification falls under an industrial application. They are required to be certified, but it's as an industrial radiographer. Typically, through the State Department of Environmental Quality or Bureau of Radiation Control. Depending on which state they occupy.

    @guitarplayer5932@guitarplayer5932Ай бұрын
    • Ah, the old “it’ll hold” argument. In a way, you’re not wrong-many welded components might endure decades of use without catastrophic failure. We can attribute this to workmanship, providence, or just dumb luck. Sadly, it’s because of these inconsistent measures of quality that we lose loved ones on the job through industrial disasters. Jobsite procedures and inspection standards are often written in blood. You don’t want that to be yours. By adhering to these established processes, you’re not just ensuring the functionality and longevity of the product you’re constructing. You’re protecting yourself.
