Well no. It doesn’t imply that at all. It already leaked by themselves that it means Alpha. Alpha is the start of the Greek alphabet, it’s also phonetic word for A and it can also mean someone with a dominant position. A quick google search also says it could mean brightest star in a constellation. So it has more chance of simply meaning Zygarde is the main part of this story, which is fine because he has no in game story and no relevance to anything. It just exists. The other probability would involve time travel like the previous title. With Z being the end the player could simply travel to the beginning. While they could introduce another legend like they did with the pink genie, I find it hardly has any relevance to a title.

At the end when you talk about the water and ice terrain, those would both be horrible for competitive pokemon. Can you imagine a choice specs tera water iron bundle in the rain AND in some sort of aqua terrain using a water move? The damage would be insane... it would make the water type even better.

Speaking of the developmental shift, that's probably also why we got no further lore with the Lumiose ghost girl. Her inclusion and dialog seem way too significant to just be some random thing, and might have been planned for something in the original Pokémon Z, even if just a minor side quest. Since that's been driving us all crazy for a DECADE, it would be a shame if Legends ZA (which takes place in Lumiose) didn't do something with that.
I just hope 100% Zygarde form would have a huge role in the upcoming Pokemon Legends Z-A. Bro never had any role in the XY games. He was just in a cave. Existing.

Kalos is one of my favorite regions, so I'm pretty dang excited about the new Legends game
I don't think many people know but the base outfit you start PLA in is one of the outfits you get/have in X and Y. I thought that was pretty cool because it seemed to imply that you were taken from Kalos and sent back in time to Hisui. I also thought it was implying a future connection between PLA and SaV AND Kalos because of Spain and France's geological locations relative to each other. It's crazy how the Kalos connection was true but not exactly what the majority of us had in mind.
Everyone saying this ignores how the girl's shirt is from Galar.

@squeebosh8525 The male player character starts off wearing a shirt you can obtain in early game XY. The female player starts off wearing a shirt you can't really get anywhere, but the bottom of the shirt shows the logo of Galar's clothing store brand.

Would be cool to have water and ice terrains added. Ice terrain could make it so that ice moves are boosted in damage and prevent stat changes from happening (stats being frozen as they are) - this could include both boosts and debuffs. Water terrain would not boost the damage of water attacks (because rain weather already does that) but it could make it so that water pokemon would move before any other pokemon regardless of speed priority (i.e. Water pokemon on water terrain will move first against non water opponents even if the opponent had Tailwind, Unburden activated, maxed speed from speed boosts or even under trick room; however moves with priority will still go first as the terrain doesn't affect the moves priority just make it so that if you water type, you are allowed to move first - this also implies that those water pokemon moves would not be blocked by the likes of Armor Tail, Dazzling or Queenly Majesty. It basically makes sure that water pokemon are swift while in water but would not outpace the priority moves of the enemies (so sucker punch or thunder clap will still go first before water pokemon move)). Though to not make it solely for water types i belive it should also prevent burn at least. After all being wet should make you not burn. I am aware Misty terrain block all status effects already but electric terrain block a single one too - sleep. So it would be normal for water terrain to prevent burns.

It seems pretty clear that Water and Ice terrains were removed because they're pointless, as Rain and Hail already exist.
in a sense, I can see why the terrains were cut. Or at least, the reasoning I'd see is that weather and terrain have a similar design space; We have Rain, Sunlight, Snow, Sandstorms (heavy rain, harsh sunlight, delta stream), and then we have terrains for grass, electric, Fairy, and psychic. Given how similar effects between them are, it sounds a bit much to have both an aqua terrain and rain. As a player, I'd much rather see weathers or terrains for other types, even if something like sandstorm already covers for three types. Maybe extend grassy terrain's usefulness to Bug Types, add a Malicious Terrain for dark types, maybe acid rain for poison types idk.

A bit of speculation about the Aqua and Icy Terrains, It's likely cut because of how it would affect the types due to them having weather effects that work the same way, especially Water Types who would get a 50% buff stacked with the 50% buff from Rain. Another possibility is that the secondary effects of the moves would be underwhelming compared to the ones available at the time. Aqua Terrain would probably work as a Damp substitute where grounded Pokémon can't use Explosion for 5 turns. Despite that, I think it's more likely because Rain and Hail/Snow exists and is why they're scrapped.

I think it'll be fun if in legends ZA, we get some of the cut terrains in the game like the ice and water ones. Ice terrain would boost ice type moves and boosts ice type mons' speed by 30% while weakening fire moves by also 30%. As for the aqua terrain, boosts ground type moves by 30% (cause if you mix dirt and water it'll make mud puddles) and it'll boosts grass type mons' stats by 30% (cause plants need water to survive and also the aqua terrain would also work with pokémon with chlorophyll ability which is not the most logical thing in the world but I don't want to get fire blasted to the face 😅)
sort of idea for Ice Terrain: all moves that require contact, if they miss the user slides and inflicts self damage from hitting the wall

The Park Ball is somewhat close, but also distinctly different because it has a blue band around the center, as well as a differently colored button in the middle that Wikstrom's Poke Ball does not have.
