how to get "this is" playlist ?

Have the rules changed? From what I gather Spotify doesn’t like artists doing that and only allows “This is” playlists to be created by Spotify. When I created a “This is” playlist, it got flagged by Spotify and I was inormed it would be removed from the platform - luckily they just deleted the name.

- That's my understanding too. I have a "Sounds of" playlist which is essentially the same thing, created by myself and containing only my music. I think Spotify has to create the official "This is" playlist.

- I have had no problems with this playlist. If you're nervous about it, just call it "Best of..." or "Sounds of..." like GotDibs shared above (really like that one too). Same benefits apply.

- They did complain to me about me using their logo in the artwork, but they never gave me any trouble about the playlist name...

- Getting a This Is playlist is based on how many songs you released on Spotify. Did you just release a new track on Friday? That probably put you above the threshold. These This Is playlists made by Spotify are pretty good... You will find some traffic going to it with a high ratio of streams per listeners.

- No i have bene uploading instrumentals almost every month or two for the past 2 years. When spotify came out with the discovery i have gained 40k montly listeners and almost at 5 million streams. I just saw it today when i was trying to figure out how pitch the new releases so i started looking it up, couldnt really find anytning about it, came across your video, so i figured id ask. :)@@Hypeddit
