What was the water temperature ??
Do you know which Z-Man freshwater plastics have salt added? I leave plastics on my hooks and that salt will ruin the hooks on jigs, chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. I especially hate removing them on spinnerbaits because you have to remove the trailer hook also. I don’t think they put it in many of their baits.
There’s quite a few that don’t have much salt, if any. Pretty much all of the swimbaits have very little salt.
@@SonarFishing I wish every soft plastics manufacturer would put Salt or No Salt labels on their packaging.
I go straight braid. You tend to yank the bait out of the striking zone when they havent even been hooked. Be more patient and actually let them eat it instead of jerking it completely out of the water onto your boat. Maybe add some pauses as well or change up your cadence.
Are those ceramic bearings making that sound when you cast?
