Business is business and family is family, but with The Pivot the two go hand in hand.
While on the road traveling, the guys sit down for a personal conversation about life happenings.
With the unfortunate passing of Fred’s grandmother, the guys prioritize doing a check in with him as his grandmother was instrumental in his upbringing and the heart of his family. Fred has always been vocal about the place his grandmother held and we know the loss of someone close to us is never easy.
Coming together in Austin, TX with our friends at Draft Kings and brothers at All The Smoke, we were preparing for the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion about business, owning our own content, second acts in life, controlling our narrative and legacy.
Part of having our own platform, earning respect and garnering success through our efforts, doesn’t always mean it’s an easy street because it does come with outside noise and sometimes taking the high road only takes us so far. We are all human so hearing false narratives and half truths become frustrating. Ryan, Channing and Fred address the Brandon Marshall comments and do their best to respond in facts rather emotion.
Relationships can often be complicated whether it’s in business, friendship or romantic ones- but guys talk about how as long as you are your true self and act in the best interest of others then you move with good intentions. Channing talks about showing the faults or “crumbs” as he says is the only way you really know if you are dealing with the right person and can’t be afraid to show people who you really are.
Excited for friend and former teammate Antonio Pierce for being named Interim Head Coach of The Las Vegas Raiders, the guys talk about the immediate respect shown for him from the locker room and excited to see what he does against his former team the Giants this Sunday.
Guys also talk about former NBA player Joe Smith and finding out about his wife’s Only Fans page as they weigh in and share their thoughts for the entire situation and what reactions are warranted or expected if this is indeed true that he didn’t know. Also discuss James Harden’s legacy and the possible Pippen Jordan wedding and what it would mean for the two infamous last names!
New episodes drop on Tuesdays at 12 p.m. ET and Fridays at 3:30 p.m ET on KZhead, with audio available on main streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify and Amazon.

  • I appreciate the swiftness in response from The Pivot, there has been a lot of inconsistencies in Marshall's claims & truly I think the biggest counter punch has always been "why is it that the vast majority of talent that has collaborated with IAA moved on?" At one point transparency has to be on the marquee. Kudos to both platforms for growth but the numbers don't lie... IAA hasn't thrived at the level they did prior to the split & the Pivot has been on the rise ever since.

When they left I didn’t like the show after that I but when I found out on Instagram they had another show I immediately went to watch it and ever since I been a fan. • I’m glad Freddy T spoke on the “where is everyone else” . It seems he’s only talking about them because of their success but why is Chef Nancie not there? PAC man Jones? Shady? Ocho?

  • Fred 7/27/2014 I lost my grandmother, who raised me. A little country boy from NC who was 44 at that time. I send my condolences. Keep loving her a d life. Unfortunately, it gets easier. I'm sorry, bro. I found myself getting angry because I didn't hurt as much over the years. As an ex football player, we compartmentalize. I live every day telling the people the lessons I learned from her. It's allows me to grieve and smile, knowing I'm representing her lineage. 1❤ bro from Henderson NC to Jacksonville (1995) to Panama City (2023). Respect bruh!

  • Saw the thumbnail for the Cam/BMarsh episode but didn’t watch it yet. One subtle, effective flex by Pivot is that the rebutted snuck up on me. The “I am ‘not’ athlete” part of the title was towards the end and cut off so it was a huge surprise and they didn’t even really push it as a part of the episode. Awesome!!

  • Love how Y'all addressed B-Marshall's comments with a level of grace. I've been a fan of Channing Crowder ever since he made the most sound argument against Reggie Wayne's & B-Marshall's ridiculous feelings that the WNBA players DESERVES Equal pay on IAA 3 years ago. When Channing asked them both directly if they would take a reduction in pay to pay female athletes, B-Marsh's actually said "I would hate to pay em 10 percent, but it's the right thing to do". Turns out he was all 🧢because B-Marshall couldn't do right by his own co-hosts that actually helped generate revenue on the IAA podcast & pay them what they felt they deserved.😏
