On my 12th tray (out of a total of 22), it's definitely working and teeth are moving in the right direction. I've never felt any pain, only a little bit of pressure the first 2-3 days of every new set of trays

I recently got Invisalign. My upper teeth are not out of place, but they are getting there. It hurts but they’re working

For anybody wondering how much the treat will cost.. I paid 4,000 and my insurance coverage covered 1,500 so 2,500 for me but the price depends all in your dental coverage and location if I’m not mistaken. They cover everything ! I don’t pay a dime after the 4 grand if anything happens during the treatment process. So far I’m on 31 out of 61 trays. Good luck to you all ! :)
What’s better braces or Invisaligin
M.E.L.O Julinek I would say Invisalign, less noticeable and you can take them off whenever you want. Braces are possibly less expensive but more noticeable. Depends on what you prefer...
It really depends on what we are trying to correct. Sometimes aligners are better and sometimes braces are the better choice. I treat on what will achieve the best outcome for the patient and also what they want. Sometimes patients do not want aligners. Sometimes they do.

I live in south Florida , is it possible to see you once and then have the rest done in the mail? I've got a similar , but worse Case than example one
Byte informed me that clear braces would not be able to push teeth back to bring a canine tooth down. Obviously, they are incorrect judging by this video ❤️ I’ll definitely be going with Invisalign instead!!
Mine is like the 2nd one but I also have gaps
I was suppoed to get my first tray two weeks ago but after they placed the attactments they realised it didn't fit and I needed to get my teeth removed first. So today I'm going to get four teeth removed (all premolars) and once my gum is healed I'll start my first tray! I have I think 32 trays changing fortnightly. Edit: I started yesterday and I've had no discomfort with it so far, it just hurts a lot taking it in and out, mostly the top teeth.
Does it cost more then braces?
@@lillywilliams5923 I would say so. For me I had the option of invisalign or braces and invisalign was about $1500 more expensive than braces. But it would vary from person to person

how much time did it take for the first case? i have a similar problem and the dentist is taking the impressions for the aligners. they told its mot sure if they will do it coz it loks pretty haurd but seeing this im getting positive. i dont really want braces. so yea. jow long did it take?
Hi Suada, I apologize for not responding sooner! The gentlemen's case took 12 visits or 17 months. In my opinion his case would have been far more difficult and taken longer if I treated him with braces. The young lady's case took 20 months. Invisalign is a tool and in experienced hands it can accomplish great results. It is up to the orthodontist to explain to the Invisalign lab technician exactly how he or she wants tooth movement to occur: the speed, the amount, extractions, IPR, expansion, etc.
Braces take longer I only have to wear Invisalign for like 18 months and braces would have been 24 months
My teeth are as like second one but like a vampire teeth on both sides, if I wear this braces how many month will it take for proper straight teeth
Will lip incompetence be improved from this (age 21)

my teeth are almost the same as the second patient I've been told though that invisalign wouldn't work why is that? my teeth are literally the same maybe just a smidge more crowded. How much does this cost?
Hi Josh, It really depends on how comfortable and what type of experience the doctor has in treating with Invisalign or any orthodontic device whether he or she "thinks it will work". Sometimes it is helpful to ask how many cases that have treated. There are some specific cases that will not work well with clear aligners just like there are some braces cases that work better with aligners. Orthodontics, whether it is braces or aligner treatment, is an art and a science. It is up to the treating orthodontist to determine the outcome of an Invisalign case not the computer technician who works for Align. Their setup is a great starting point. I decide how fast I want to move teeth, what type of attachments and where they go and whether teeth need to slenderized or extracted etc. I decide the amount of tooth movement. I communicate with technician until he gets the setup the way I want it. Although the computer setup looks easy there is a lot of time and effort that goes into it to get the optimal result. Every orthodontic case is different and fees can range based on the difficulty of the case.

I made the stone models and articulated the ones that others couldn't do because they couldn't find the exact bite. I appreciate the response you seem like you really care and spend time on your patients mouths and that is a true talent Doc. thanks for all you do. I know my answer is late, but I hope it could still be useful for someone. My teeth are almost exactly the same as the 2nd case, too, and my orthodontist said Invisalign would work for me, I've already had my teeth scanned and the virtual simulation of teeth movement done. Hoping to start my Invisalign journey very soon :)
Josh Spivey my teeth were the same as the second patient, and my orthodontist recommended Invisalign to me as my stage two. I’m currently almost done after one year, and couldn’t be happier

So I’m an Invisalign patient and I’m non of these! I have Invisalign right now but my tooth in the bottom row of your mouth, that tooth is ligit sideways. I am now on Invisalign for 1 year. (I got Invisalign on September 8th 2020)

The bumps on the teeth are called attachments. They are what helps push or pull the teeth in specific directions with the proper amount of pressure.

Can I get Invisalign online by like not going to the dentist because I’m scared as my teeth are not in good condition but I know that Invisalign will work????
"Invisalign" is a brand name product only offered through an orthodontist office or possibly a general dentist office and not online directly to the patient. It is a doctor directed product. Online companies that are not Invisalign that you see advertising on TV and in social media provide a crippled version of aligner therapy and have very minimal doctor involvement in a patient's case because they do not get to physically examine your teeth and frequently never request x-rays to check the stability of teeth or to check for potential pathology. Online companies do not require x-rays but "selfies" of your teeth. It is solely up to the mystery dentist sitting at the computer to request x-rays on your behalf and this "extra effort" request is relayed to the corporate phone center and back to the patient who must request the x-rays from their dentist and send them back to the company. Therefore, I would not recommend "online" treatment if you are concerned about your dental health. When I examine a patient in your situation I will not begin treatment until I have an x-ray so that I can make sure teeth are stable enough for movement with aligners or braces which is why the legal standard of care when practicing dentistry is a requirement to have x-rays before proceeding with orthodontics. Poor dental health can contribute to cardiac problems as the bacteria in the mouth can affect your heart. Try not to have your fear take over you. Find a dentist that you are comfortable with. Many dentists offer methods of relaxation. It is never too late to get healthy teeth! Do this first for your health and then proceed with straightening later. Hope this helps!

Hi my wife has a very similar situation like patient 2, we have got braces and then opted for another dentist when the dentist was attempting to file her teeth. The new dentist recommends taking of all the brackets and starting invisilign treatment. The only problem is they can't guarantee that Invisilgn will work and that in the end she might still need filing for more space. Any advice?

How long was it for the girl mine are alot like hers I'm just tired of my teeth would like the fastest solution with braces I know it'd take like 2 years
Hi Alanise, Her case took 20 months with 2 week aligner wear and I would consider this an advanced aligner case that I finished about 4 years ago. The good news is that I am now treating patients with 1 week aligner wear so treatment time can be reduced substantially. With that being said, I make sure patients are wearing them for 2 weeks and am making sure the teeth are tracking before switching them to 1 week wear. Also, in my office we are now making our aligners in house in many cases making it more affordable for patients and giving me the doctor more control over the process than sending to the lab techs in Costa Rica and Mexico at Align Corporation.
Mine are basically identical to hers. My plan is 58 weeks (a little over a year) changing weekly with elastics.
