Great idea, but a few suggestions I need to add: 1) Those cells need to be capacity checked prior to connecting them up. If the cells are different capacity then they will drain at different rates, and you'll be limited to the weakest cell. 2) Voltage of the battery is not everything. I have had cells below 2.5V that have delivered close to their rated capacity when checked. You need to charge them and capacity test them using Turnigy Accucel/SkyRC Imax/Opus/Liitokala etc. 3) With such a large amount of batteries in parallel, the solar panel is not worth having. Its rated at 3W so will charge at a current of 0.6A - not considering any losses in the step down to the battery, the wiring etc. With 8 cells in parallel, the solar charger will charge them up at
Daaaaaamn you gave him a lesson
1. No you wont be limited to the weakest cells capacity because they are in parallel that means the voltage will stay the same on each cell no matter what that is only valid if you use a 2s 3s 4s, 5s,6s battery connections 4. Spot welders are expensive plus you need nickel strips and if you solder very quickly like 3-4 secs then its fine
damn KOREK !
Hi It's good to know names of items that you used That you should display names of items will help to buy at market or shop
You are good man broo i like your channel this my favorite 👌💪
Awesome work brother, never mind what others say, what you do is not everyone can do. Of course things can be always optimized which I am sure you are capable of optimizing and improving. Good job. Best regards.
To give that plastic a smoother on its finish for the edges, take a blowtorch and quickly pass over it as it smoothens off the surface and does the job quite nicely. Don't hold for too long as it will warp and melt.
Absolute genius!
damn dude ur video edits are as awesome as what ur building. i kept wanting to pause to post but it kept getting better lol.
Thank you
1. Its dangerous to connect so many cells in parallel especially from different packs. If the voltage varies or you have one bad cell it will drain every cell down to its max voltage. You need to add a protection circuit... 2. Dont solder directly onto the battery... they are usually attached with a spot welder. 3. The amount of batteries is COMPLETE over kill for a solar panel of that size. 4. Music is cancer... 5. Use flux for better solder joints
Thank You!
The only problem I've seen is that he didnt use flux.
hello i woulld like to build a product similar to it.Can u help me selecting the better solar panel which can charge 10000mah power bank in 1 and half hour
1st your test your cells on multi meter thereafter join other not
@@KingMinhvuong sir ye pcb bord minimum kitne voltage pe kaam karta h
'this is awesome,,dude!!!
Exelente vídeo amigo
Solar power banks are of great help. Chargie helps save battery life when the charger is plugged in.
I think you you should be able to add a mechanical switch to use solar charging instead of using a cable.
I made one of these about 9 years ago... Fun project...
Good work brother 👍👏👏👏🌹
This is amazing
Top!
Agree with Robert s, The only reason retail manufactures put solar panels on those power packs is because they know the average consumer is going to be to ignorant to know it would take months to charge and nobody is going to put these in the sun for extended lengths of time because somebody would just end up stealing it. The real question is why the uploader of this video installed one on his power bank. Having said that. He did do a very nice job. Thinking if he installed an external dedicated solar charging jack to plug in a larger 20 or 30 watt solar panel would make more since.
try the round magnet with coil on top and bottom and see what you get too.
With the set up you have. Can I just keep adding more batteries or will I have to upgrade some parts??
Technically u can ads more batteries in parallel to the others but it will take time to recharge the batteries
Muito maneiro very good like very fine
Thanks for sharing helpful tips, sending love, likes and support.
I want one, nice job with the video, u must know a lot about electronic.... Great video...
Thank you
one magnet and then wrap with wire top to bottom and two outside magnets that have no wrapping is also worth a try. but use the tape wire stuff. this will allow the magnet to conduct and hold together. use real magnets for this one.
Good good !
I did it.. it's really working I am very happy 😂🎉🎊
Hi, I also want to build solar powerbank but I want to connect two 5v 0.55w =10v 1w approx solar panels to buck converter and use the buck converter to charge my phone/iPad i think it will charge my device faster ? Right ?
What about the BMS ? Battery Management System circuit??
Both pcb's there have tp4056 chips on them which turn 5v into 4.2v, and 4.2v into 5v. No need for a BMS.
could connect the solar panel directly to the battery through the diode
Impressive👍😘
There is an easier way. All you have to do is get a solar panel and a 5v converter with a USB inlet and plug your charger in.
Show me how ? Send me the vedeo link
Very very very very good! 🤩😍
You rill coooool bro
Great job.
Thank my friend!
Bhai solar ko bhi diod laga kar 1 hi saath join kar lete To automatics sun light pr charge hota Ab kon bahar jany pr cable join karega
Do you charge the battery's before you use them?
I don't understand why you needed a 5v step up module to charge up the batteries, can I build mines without it? The solar panel is already rated at 5v when at peak sun light. And since the batteries are hooked up in parallel, it can be charged with less than 5v - right? Also, should I use a diode connected between the batteries and charge cable to prevent back current? And would it be better if I just solder the wires connecting the solar panels onto the battery board so I don't have to connect it with the usb cable?
Bro which charger is suitable to charge the 18650 battery separately?
Nice video tutorial love it
Quá sáng tạo. Thank ad nhìu
Top! I like!
Amazing 😍
damaging 😁
Now thats a real power bank nice DIY bro keep it up
Brother I really appreciate your project but can I use TP4056 charging module instead of battery charger step up
TP4056 only use for 1-2 battery, not more
where can i buy the mica plastic??
This project is: - Excellent; and - Good for blackout if you are outside.
Thank so much bro!
Sir can i use 20pcs 18650 Battery to that power bank module ??
How many watts is your soldering iron?
For a board like that you need to have a 2p formation... For instance you would be better off having the cells in a 4s 2p formation so the BMS can properly charge the batteries. Also... PLEASE do your research on pairing the batteries together... For your own safety.
Thank for your advise
sir ji video hai jabardast aur aapne saari jaankari di hai par aap log bahut fast video banato ho kyonki aap ko aadat hai parts ki aur knowledge hai par hum log jo aapka video dekh rahe hain jyadatar naye hai shokia taur par experiment karte hai request hai ki video slow banayein
In market solor power bank cost is start from 500rs.
Great to see that Avasva has new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
You very intelligent ,dear
Great pro
Awesome 😱😱
Такого на колхозил ))) Всё в термо-клее под орг стеклом ахахаха))). Посмешил от души)))
Did all the powerbank motherboard same? I wan to use my old powerbank.
Kreatif inovatif Bikin rangkai powerbank sendiri Mantap mas bro & mau tanya apa pakai Modul TP4065 Charging yg 5 volt dc!??
You're amazing a super man.
If I connect solar panel's output directly to battery terminal by using a diode IN4007 Then? Current would not get reversed.. Then no need for a step up.. Can I use it please reply...
I had tested an arrangement with the module you used for solar charging but in my case it discharged instead of recharging unless you connect it with other battery
Sure?
Yes
if my hands could move that fast id never leave the house oh wait.... i dont
Very goooood!
Нормально, зачётно получилось.
Nice. Very nice
I love it
Good job👍👍, boleh order kak
How long will it take to charge 8 batteries from this model?
Good yes
where do i get mica plastic sheets?
so cool love too much
What if i want to make one with Quick Charge 3.0 ??? What board do I need ??
Can we use rechargeable batteries?
Very nice
Tried this but when I tried away the metal tac welds, it left holes in the batteries, better to just snip them off short as possible and leave them on.
5 v 3 w solar pannel kahan say milay ga
Солнечная панель тут лишняя. А идея с корпусом понравилась !
Amazing! You got an very seep learning curve. This thing is functional but very crudely build. In the projects you make now it's all very stylish and flashy. That boombox is a nice furniture. Go on and show us your art.
Your solar cell will charge that powerbank in 60 days sunlight.
@Shawn Candor Wow ! is that true?
Wenn 5V 1200 mA Volt IN und 10000 mA Akku mit perfekter Sonneneinstrahlung (Panel macht keine 3W) jedoch der Step Up lädt den Akku in 10 Stunden..
@@01Hudesohn can u translate to english!
If 5V 1200mA volts IN and 10000mA rechargeable battery with perfect sunlight (Panel does not make 3W) however the Step Up charges the battery 10 hours even more..
That 3W rating is rather overstated. Sunlight = 1W every 10 x 10 cm. Solar panels are around 20-25 % efficient. You need about 0.15 square metres of panel to get 3W.
Very nice powerbank :D
Thank bro!
Panelnya beli dimana mas kalau boleh tau
nice job.
Vai sarkit ta ki nije toiri korsen na kinse....... Sarkit ki kinte pawya jai ?
What do you do with the batteries that are under 3v?
Maybe i will discharge it untill die and throw it away
@@KingMinhvuong I've been using cells that I've recovered from less than 1v and been using it for months in a portable power bank
Hello! Can yoy please tell me the purpose of the 5V Step-up Power Module?
very good
Nice video, but how much days you need to charge from this tiny solar panel?
365 days only 😁👍
Power Bank Board kaha milenga? Please Reply
That solar cell looks pretty pathetic. Yeah, It'll charge.. but it'll take a good long while. You would be better off making a portable folding solar panel. The extra current would greatly benefit here. Also. Don't skimp on the solar cells. The cheap ones might be tempting, but they most likely are pretty bad.
Where did you get that MICA plastic
so it is a really cool project butt there are many problems that i dont like at all 1.first up balance charge where is it? so al the battery's will charge evenly and the powerbankmodule wont heat up 2.second why remove the white led for a green one? 3.third but not last the solarpanel doesnt diliver to much power so you just can do it white out the solarpanel overall you're creative butt think also on safety
I like your comment. Sorry because i have too much comment so i can not reply all but i will update and fix like you say.Thank bro
@@KingMinhvuong yeah no problem i just want to have a better product so i can build it to and not worry about it is heating up or something like that
@@tjappie8860 all the cells are in parrelel. They self balance.
@@ekoms108 are you sure they'll self balance?
Good idea
attach coils on the end of the magnet also and then pull the wire away to check. please.
atach coil on neck with huge manet magnet boy
battery must have same rating capacity(mah) and i think it should be drain first in order to recalibrate
It's better to test each capacity using Turnigy Accucel or SkyRC Imax to get the capacity of the cells. then use cells with same capacity and charge them all to the same level before connecting together.
use refrigerator magnet thin and then wrap to make flashlight batteries for the government and it will make them very happy with you. (the cop whose flashlight never went out.) will be story dedicated to you when you are an old man.
Si en lugar de haberle puesto el segundo circuito hubiese conectado el panel solar a un regulador de 5V y de ahí directamente a las baterias, ¿no sería más práctico?
Thank you
@@KingMinhvuong Why did not you solder the solar panel directly to the batteries?
Klo powerbanknya masih ada saya beli aja deh om.
Di market place banyak, kisaran 800rb an
Sehr Gut
Awesome if you remove the solar panel then it is perfect other wise not and may chance to blust during solar charging
NICE
