  • at 3:00 avant que le bus n'arrive. This has changed by view of French grammar completely. up until now, I was using Spanish to help me with French but this has changed everything. I thought, why is it Avant que le bus N'arrive and not avant que le bus arrive? Now I know that this is a part of French grammar called the Ne Expletif. wow this is going to be difficult, Tu as peur qu'il ne parte but Tu as peaur qu'il ne parte pas( this is not ne expletif). Je te fais confiance a moins que tu ne me mentes = I trust you, unless you lie to me. These are examples of the Ne Expletif. My God now every aspect of French is more difficult than Spanish.

    • I also enjoy but..I was just thinking is there any episode where the mom doesn’t look like Hillary Clinton whose job is just to prepare meals for the family? Every episode includes the family coming into the kitchen and asking Marie “est que le déjeuner prêt maman? » or « qu’est-il y’a mangé ? » Etc etc.. 😂 I think one day mom is going to throw the food against the wall like Annette Bening in the film American Beauty 😂😂
