What is very strange to me is that when the pilot betrayed Escobar he knew perfectly well there would be severe reprisals, yet he went on with his life as if it were all back to normal oblivious to the inevitability of a hit. Now that was STUPID!

  • Sad backstory. The day after filming was finished, the plane Cruise’s character flew, was destroyed when a careless local pilot slammed into the side of a hill trying to scud run due to poor weather. Unfortunately, on board in the backseat was a very famous helicopter and plane pilot for the movies, whose flying skills and camera systems were used in movies like the Transformers. Amongst many others.
