I hope they are not going completely grounded tbh I'm kinda getting bored of batman always being grounded these days.
Well they aren't, I mean look at the costumes.
Batman in The Flash movie was not grounded, Batman in ZSJL and DCEU was NOT grounded. Batman doesn't appear in the TV shows...
Batman is a grounded character ...his plot armor enables him to keep up with his superpowered peers

I don't think you can have Harley without The Joker. I'm hoping they get Bruce Greenwood for Batman. He did a great job in Under the Red Hood.

The person u forgot is J.J. Abrams. Selina and Bruce look stunning. I feel like they really tried to make it stand out and be different thats why Harley has other colors. Natalia Knight is also known as Nocturna a Batman villain.

@@Rengokuo4o6 No powers, but does seem to have her skin pygmentation drained by lasers. Though there are different Nocturnas (this one is based on the pre-crisis one) and they're vampire ladies.

@@Rengokuo4o6she was jewel thief/love interest too Batman along with Jason Todd's foster mum. I think she turned Batwoman into a vampire at some point. She was supposed to appear in TAS and she would've been this pale lady with a weird blood disease which I assume would've given her vague vampiric like attributes.

The animation looks amazing. Very simplistic, but very effective In what It's going for. Reminds me of the BTAS series Bruce Timm animation, but very classical that also gives off Zero Year vibes with the suit, which likely means this Is Bruce In his mid 20s still In his 2nd year as Batman. Hopefully we get Bruce Greenwood or Roger Craig Smith to voice Batman In this project, and If not them then Jensen Ackles would be dope. Anyways, loving the first look of Caped Crusader series so far, and I'm so fucking hyped for the series In general!

Why is harley Quinn in this, if she never existed in the original Golden age comics, this is bizarre their elevating harley quinn coming first. Where's the Mad Monk the Monster Men & Dr. Hugo strange, the Red hood etc?

Because of her popularity, shes on everything now . Such a shame they could have fleshed out other minor villains, even if the show got the green lits for a season 2 I dont know how long it will take to make one since this took forever.
just so u know Beware The Batman was actually the last Batman animated series which came out in 2013,before that was Batman Brave and the Bold which came out in 2008 and The Batman was released in 2004

I am not suprised with the direction in most of the designs but worries me is JJ Abrams influence and Bruce Timm after he made the Killing Joke. I would really like Paul Dini to return, you could spot the difference in the last Arkham game without his influence.

I'm honestly interested in this series too. One thing I love about it is how it has that 40s asstetic. It makes the costumes look very, very interesting. Sometimes there's beauty in simplisity that that's what I see in this series. One thing I do think diehard Batman fans are going to struggle with is Harley Quinn. I heard they're doing a completely new spin on her. Making her a more serious villain. And also making her not Joker's girlfriend like in past versions of the character. I personally find it refreshing, but everyone is attached to the original character and I 100% appreciate that. Also the animation style, character designs and serious tone reflect "Batman the Animated series. Which is the biggest sell for this series. We really need shows like the original amimated Batman series today. Fingers crossed, Everyone. 🤞

This isn’t the first time a DC cartoon takes Harley Quinn into a time period she didn’t exist. Batman and The Brave and the Bold was adapting the Golden age and Silver age DC comics. When the show uses Harley Quinn, they resigned her with Flapper Girl/Betty Boop design. You know, The Cape Crusader should’ve other characters that existed before Harley Quinn. Because there were comic characters took the name *“Harlequin”* before Harley Quinn existed. And the past Harlequins did wear green before Harley iconic Red and Black clothes. Molly Mayne? She is more a Green Lantern Alan Scott villain. Molly Mayne wears Green. But it might not work cause she loves Green Lantern. How about Duela Dent aka Joker’s Daughter. She did go by Harlequin as well. I know most people are familiar with in her New 52 comic but actually Joker’s Daughter existed since *1976.* Duela also worn green. There could be possibly to do with her. It need to better when CW’s Gotham Knights did with Duela Dent. Gotham Knights TV show is terrible. 7:18 Honestly, I was hoping *Philo Zeiss,* a Batman Villain would be in the roster. Back then I heard Ed Brubaker is the head writer of this show. And Philo Zeiss was created by Ed Brubaker too. Philo Zeiss is really obscure and he also underrated. It work with him cause just have goggle to enhance his martial arts skills. And Zeiss part the Sicilian mafia. Just wonder why didn’t Ed Brubaker didn’t include Philo Zeiss. It makes the whole Rogue’s Gallery more grounded. Gentleman Ghost stands out for being Super Natural.
Maybe they combined the old Harlequinns with Harley, based on the colour scheme, and maybe making something new out of it, given how the imagines how what looks like a depressing looking Harley.

Warner Brothers was selling it to other streaming services . Amazon won the bidding the most for the right to have Batman Caped Crusader.
You should've watched the video. It's not on MAX, because, when the Discovery merger took place, David Zaslav (the new CEO) killed many upcoming projects. Luckily, the show was picked up by Amazon.
