    • @@maxxismycat999 I hope he can keep making enough money grappling and coaching so he doesn't need to get into mma. I think the people we see trying mma from grappling are doing it because they need the money while their body is still up to it. I also hope Pena going into mma is out of love for the sport and not just for cash.

    • ​@@Nicatlotus i can confirm i train at a pure nogi school and all the gi only guys that come to our open mats feel 3 belt levels lower when they dont have the gi, they are physicaly strong and have ok defense but there is never any threat of pass sweep or sub, people that occasionaly train nogi or 1 day a week are lacking for the most part.

  • So Gordon gets 30 min Meregali, then 10 mins with Luke? ANd he does look like he actually tries alot, which is why it doesnt look like Gordon tries too hard in actual Matches. In training, you wanna get as tired as possible, and then conserve the energy is an actual match. Make in the gym training actual fucking hell so its not hell out there.

    • How do you equate not keeping a car to diminished mental health? I'm not sure, but it was implied that he does this to maintain a uncomfortable environment to promote growth. It may appear insignificant, but I would bet at his level, every advantage, no matter how miniscule, could end up being a mental edge and even possibly, the deciding factor in a match. Or am I jumping out the window at joke and looking like a goofball? 🫣
