Let me share with you the amazing vibe on San Blas Islands in Panama 🇵🇦
It is definitely one of the most beautiful places in the world where I have been! Just the Caribbean sea, palm trees, sun, and no wifi - perfect combination!
I also share some useful tips in the 2nd part of the video about visiting San Blas for those who are planning their trip there.

  • Honestly, I only opened the video because of the stunning beauty, and the explanation about the place made me more enchanted, but of course the Caribbean islands are also very beautiful. You chose the place very well, as probably everything you do.

  • @AlikiTravelBlog The recommendation for going to San Blas Island is in the month of september. But in september you may experience rainy days in the rest of the country that is not caribbean coast. From January to March is dry season in Panama, less humidity, more wind, higher temperature. If you still in Panama City, you can check a day trip to Mogo mogo Island in the Pacific Ocean. Some TV reality shows have been filmed there (Pearl Islands). Have a great time here in Panama.

    • @@briantravelman Taboga is closer to the city and I think is cheaper (it is a town) compared to any trip to any of the Pearl Island. The beach is fine but beach in the Pear Island are better. Some day trip to an island in the Pear Islands will be between 95 to 110. But the beaches in Pear Island does not have a lot to do, is mainly to enjoy nature and clear water beaches. Search some pictures in Google to see the difference.

  • OMG, you are soooooooooo adorable! 🤗 I heard about these islands. They don't appear to have much to offer in terms of attractions, but that sand and water look so tempting, OMG!🥰 I MIGHT add these to my Panama itinerary. I see day tours aren't that expensive, but they're like 14 hours and I would have to extend my trip either way, so IDK if it's worth it for us just the sand and water, especially since I've been to the Caribbean many times. Though some of the tours do cultural activities as well. It's definitely something to think about. I am curious though what port you sailed out of to get there. I know the tours leave from Panama City, but I'm curious about where you actually got on the boat to get to the islands. I'm sorry you didn't get to see everything. Tour companies love to use weather as an excuse, but in reality, some of the guides are just lazy and like to seek any opportunity to do less work for the same money. It really upsets me when a tour company promises one thing, then doesn't deliver. I prefer to avoid them, but sometimes they are neccesary. Anyways, looking forward to your Panama series. It's a country I've been trying to visit for a few years and your video got me in the mood again😋I'll wait 'til I know what places you visited, and then we'll chit chat😉

    • Well, if you are short on time and have been to these types of places then yes, you will not see anything new. I think it is more of the vibe, you go away for a day or two, have some quality relax time on the islands, snorkeling, good food, beautiful ambiance, get some tan haha...I think it is a great weekend away BUT it does take 5 hours just to get there so I wouldn't recommend going for a day, I would recommend at least 2 days, so you get that chill morning like in movies. Also, getting there is difficult, the road is horrible, you need 4x4 and the port is not really a port, it is a pier with a chaotic system where locals do 'boat taxi'. So, I agree, doing things yourself is always better, BUT in this case, I do not see how you can do it without an agency. Unless you have perfect Spanish and you have researched like 200% of everything that can go wrong :D Yes, been already collecting info and videos on Panama City so a video about that will go live very soon too!🤩🇵🇦

    • @@AlikiTravelBlog That's what I thought. I will probably skip them then, as if I want that kind of stuff/vibe, I can just go to the Caribbean, so it's kind of pointless. Pearl Islands also don't look that great. Taboga Island I would visit though, and San Andres in Colombia. If you're there currently, maybe you could try Taboga Island, though I heard it's not the best for swimming and snorkeling because there was an oil spill a few years ago. If you're in Panama City, definitely visit the ruins and take a tour to the Embera village. I obviously haven't been to these places, but from my research these are things I would do.

    • @@briantravelman What kind of activities or places are you interested? San Blas and Pearl Islands are places just to disconnect and relax on beautiful beaches and landscapes (enjoy nature). The fact that both places does not have many activiities and construction is something that people that like that kind of places enjoy the most. Closer trip option may be going to a day trip to Venas Azules, Tunel del Amor and Playa Blanca (Blue Veins, Tunnel of Love and White Beach) close to Portobelo.
