Seeing that dude fold QQ pre with the dream spot just crushed my soul
likewise.
I lost a small part of my soul seeing that
What the.........! Lol
A tight but reasonable fold
That’s actually the correct play two preagress raisers and he’s not in good position any pro would Fold there problem is these people are bozos and are very aggressive and don’t play optimally
Hustlers Casino should put, "This video is for entertainment purposes only, do not learn from these people" at the start of their videos 😂
Can someone please pin this comment?
I thought that you were exaggerating, there are always silly stuff in all streamed hands. But now I feel like stopping watching halfway, this is too much...
Yes, please never fold QQ in that guy's spot. Ever. You should always go all in there with a small stack
'Don't try this at home.' ;)
@@kuruptzZzeven if your behind and only one caller can try to get 2 boards n chop at worst spit what’s in middle not bad either
The guy folding QQ in that spot is why I still play poker.
Ahahahahahahah there’s ppl that folds KK pre bruh REMEBER that

Title says Magnus flopped the nuts but This Guy folding Q-Q preflop is all we cared about
Depending on the table, I will likely see a flip with QQ but past that, who knows...
@@jeffshackleford3152 seeing all players calling, I tjink it was an easy 4bet And seeing his stack, all in was all he wanted
This Commentator deserves a RAISE for letting us hear the action instead of "OMG HE FOLDED QUEENS? QUEENS? OMG RYAN HERE COMES THE DOOM ZOOM HERE IT COMES" Thank you to the commentator.
yes dude that shit made me laugh so hard
Thanks
He also doesnt want to embarrass the players. You should have seen how they were praising Moneymaker when in fact he played like a total donkey.
Pretty massive difference to dbags like Jeff Platt
Trueeee,best comment
"I gotta be smart." Folds getting incredible odds with the nut open-ender on a rainbow board.
to a 1k bet after calling 800 pre, just ridiculous folds going on one after another
Why the hell was her playing that hand? You can hardly ask for a better flop multi way
Getting 5 to 1 on a open ender and saying i dont think its worth it. This shit should not be televised
exactly! oh my god..
1k bet when he had 5500 in his stack. He's open ended but that was asking for a lot of his chips. SPR kinda fucked up there at that point.
Even the camera operator zoomed in on Kian in disbelief at that fold
I don't like running it twice. Either once or three times, but chopping when you're ahead is so depressing. Also the more times you run it the more outs are removed from the deck when they hit.
Yeah running it twice when it's a flip just takes the 'all in' excitement away. Like chops are so boring, why encourage them?
I always run it twice because i'm not a peasant like you guys. Some guys don't play poker for money.
@@tamirmtr3487 so all poker players are peasants but ppl who watch and comment on poker videos like you are not peasants. Got it.
It doesn't matter how many times u run it, your EV is always the same
@@paulg6274 before any cards come out, yes of course it's the same EV. But once the cards come out the EV changes. Running it more times reduces volatility.
1:54 That slow zoom after making one of the worst folds in poker history
straight out of 'The Office' lol
The worst food was the J9 diamonds on the flop…. Back door diamonds and open ended.
@@chilogutierrez8760 Not really. 28% it said. He would end up going all in on a draw. Never a good spot to be in. Just a pure gamble
@@kuruptzZz (calling is an option) 🙄. And yes thats a very bad fold also
@@paulg6274 Call and then what? The pot is now 2x his remaining chips. He knew that if he misses, he would feel obligated to go all in chasing a 25% river draw. So he got out before all that. A reasonable fold. I swear, so many people on here have no idea how poker works!
Anyone who says you can’t make money in live poker in 2023 needs to watch this hand. Magnus’ all in on the turn was literally the only decision a player made the whole hand that wasn’t awful. Get me in this game!
Why are they all talking about what other players have when its still 5 handed also? Its like they've all watched a few hours of TV poker and are now all role-playing as Daniel Negreanu without any understanding of how the game actually works.....
Seeing that guy golf Queens was heartbreaking. Absolute dream spot. Ffs.
Yet everyone trying to defend it on here lol. Dude snap folded to 2 min raises. They weren't even sized up literally 400 to 800 lol
Folding queens to a 3 bet with that much left behind, why even show up to play? Insta shove everyone but Bryce folds, and you scoop.
💯
exactly. some of these clowns in the comments defending the fold have no clue what they’re talking about 😂
fish waiting for AA to shove
Yea it’s a bad fold but some of them don’t play regularly. Have to give him a pass when it comes to criticism.
Shocking, dream scenario
Mariano has no business playing with these people
Pros and amateurs wanna mix it up. At least he played like a fish on purpose.
Played it so well.. have fun don’t beat up the game and teach along the way
He was there to give action, which he gave plenty of. I don't know what vpip he ended the night with, but most of the stream it was around 80%.

An advantage Magnus already has regardless is people are intimidated by his intelligence. They are probably thinking “he could also be a poker genius.”
can't be that smart with that hair....
@@johnnyrotundo6483 Well, he has been the best chess grandmaster for quite some time so...😂
although chess and poker are both games of skill.. the problem is where chess and poker differ and being good at chess does not translate over to poker. the strategy to poker is far different and a chess genius will pick up the game of poker easily and perhaps become very good very quickly.. but they dont have any advantage
@@StarkVandalez yes, but you could argue that even poker is a think ahead game much like chess. Poker is very much based in luck as well. Not saying there is no skill involved at all tho; just saying Magnus has mastered arguably the most difficult board game ever to exist, so poker is nothing compared to that.
@@MrLeeStories every game and sport is a think a head game. Many people from Magic the Gathering games moved over to poker because of the strategy involved. I would say card games are more in line with poker. not chess. The only similarity in poker and chess is the ability to learn how to understand another players patterns.
I like the all-in here. He doesn't want the flush draw which is feasibly the only thing that beats him. Don't let them see the river cheap and then decide whether they can take the whole pot or just fold. Make them pay now to see it or fold and avoid the risk entirely.
You can tell Miss Botez wouldn't mind making Chess Genius babies with Magnus.
Right, the lean towards him is extremely clear body language.

Anyone notice the guy next to magnus flashing his hand before he threw his hand in? It's like watching a frat party poker party.😂😂😂
How does mariano get to play with absolute beginners everyday 😂
my exact thoughts😂😂😂 honestly scary when they have half a clue what they’re doing
hb lost 35k 😂

Mariano with this line up. It’s. New mid-low stakes Garrett 😂
that was epically boring
HILARIOUS how the camera zooms on the guy that folds QQ at 2:00
Magnus Carlsen “FLOPS THE NUTS” is one of those titles that I am not prepared for
He really wanted to run it twice 😮. Keeping it friendly I guess
I NEVER run it twice. I did it once when opponent flopped the nuts. He begged me for 3 minutes to run it twice but I kept saying no once finally I said okay. We chopped.
If they flopped the nuts why would they beg you for twice? They are ahead
i dont know how to play poker but ive been watching it for weeks now.. can u explain what happened at the end? thankyou
Honestly I miss playing this type of poker
When the dude bet 1/3rd pot on the flop and the guy went "wowwww, big baller!", it definitely took me back to a different time! 😂
So play, what's holding you back?
Mariano looks hammered
He looks too hard to copy Garrett wtf is he doing
I would have jammed QQ pre. I would have jammed J9 on the flop. I fold AJ on the flop. I fold K9 on the turn. This play is fantastically terrible.
yep
Then you lose all your money. That was a great fold.

A great fold is when you're behind. He was ahead at that point. And 7 9 most likely folds to another raise unless they are playing super loose.
Nick gives me hope for his generation. And I'm typing this before I see the river outcome. He knows his tile and perception of others and what he's perceived as. He's young but he's sharp, knows when to speak, vidulant, smart, but most importantly doesn't act on emotion impulse and very mature thinking for his age. Yea, the guy with 6.5:1 odds, only getting 3:1 and reships with a marginal draw and only one card to come? Super smart
Oh yea, and it’s a paired board Great playing
That fold with QQ might be the worst preflop fold I’ve ever seen in my life
No, KK folds are worse.
On a table this wild, that fold was a good call. And then the results show it was an even more brilliant call.

never let someone who's drawing to run it twice. If they think you'll always agree, they will hedge their bets and push all in on every draw.
That's not a bad thing.
"Hedge their bets"? Running twice isn't hedging, it just reduces volatility. Nobody's equity changes. So I'd happily let them shove every draw and we can run it as much as they like
You can't say Magnus has the nuts with both a turn and a river that can have a runner runner flush draw.....
Most of these comments don't even understand what happened. First, this is a cash game, not a tournament. There is no ICM pressure. Second, relative to the blinds everybody is pretty deep. The blinds are 25/50 and almost everybody is 120-130 blinds deep. Third, after everybody calls, MC makes an 8x raise to try and scoop the blinds/calls. This is a pretty bad raise because not only is it extremely polarizing but it's incredibly obvious what MC is trying to do. Fourth, considering MC's 8x raise, Nate's minimum 3-bet makes perfect sense. Even with the minimum 3-bet it's now a 16x pre-flop raise. After recognizing what MC is trying to do, Nate tries to squeeze. Fifth, I have no idea what the hell Kian is doing. If you're folding QQs pre-flop in a cash game to an obvious 3-bet squeeze there are better ways to lose money. Like setting it on fire.
So I started watching a chess match and a poker game broke out!
How does this not have more likes
You use the word poker loosely

Why are any of these people, except mariano, even at this table? You have 2.9k and you're folding QQ's on a weak table vs a 3-bet... wow

tbf he did have a straight draw because a 7 would make a straight. I don't think he saw Magnus's cards to know that magnus already made a straight though
Why play J9 if y dont go after ur open ender? What did he expect to flop the nuts that can see the board paired? A non nit flush? A straight flush?
Me: It would be hilarious is he folds QQ preflop. 😂
why did that guy fold pocket queens to a 3-bet wtf?
then jc folds an open ender with backdoor flush with 5k behind in a 5k pot

It hurts me watching these people play poker
Mariano must have felt like an old man sitting with these scrubs. I cringed when I heard one ask “how many shots have you had”. Straight out of high school comment.
the dude can premove 5 moves in a blitz chess game and it takes him 5 minutes to go all in.
The fold of queens preflop at this stack depth looks absurdly bad. As does the fold of an open ender on a rainbow flop with those pot odds and implied odds if hit.
i would not have run that 2x if i was magnus lol
It's unfair that they let Mariano play in this game 😂

Magnus is the biggest Chad on the planet. Even his name is chad AF. You just have to stand in awe.
Magnus is champion ; you can’t win against him
Everyone’s talking about the QQ or J9. But what ab the K9 cold call of a 3 bet pre flop?? With 4 players still behind, one of which is the original raiser. The J9 and 92 pre are very lose as well. At a sensible table QQ gets it all in, magnus folds, Bryce calls off I’m sure. QQ holds for a medium size pot
Kian must have saw the Doug Polk vid on pocket queens
He called preflop with J9, flops an open-ender, and then folds? Why call with J9 preflop then? And the other dude folded QQ preflop to a 3-bet??
People talking about QQ gold pre, what about the guy folding J9S with an open ended draw, back door flush and an over card haha
Hard to believe this was a legit game with an extremely questionable fold of QQ
This is so random.. lately I’m watching a lot of chess and playing more and now in my favorite poker live stream which I also watch since ever there is magnus Carlsen playing? This is such a coincidence idk
