for the changes to shooting range, there should be a "equip to all feature" on the guns so if i were to find my gun combo for smg-11 i can equip it to everyone instead of having to do it manually for all the ops who have it.
That's interesting for me personally I have all 3 different setups on smoke mute and amaru smg 11 lol its boring playing same setups on all guns, so I think that's why it's unnecessary to add.

@@LaKillingFrenzyy I personally don’t believe that it’s a “free diamond,” but it seems like this type of rank mmr is the same as overwatch. It is very dependent on how much matches you can win. If you keep facing, for example, golds and keep constantly winning in that rank. Than you proceed further and possibly rank up to plat. It definitely still has its competitive factors, and it seems like the R6 devs want the people to keep on playing to get what rank they deserve the most. I agree that it requires the factor of “grinding” the game and allows people to build up more practice and game sense. However, it might take a long time to get people to their desired ranks.

This looks really good. Great that the new map can‘t be banned! I think a lot of players refuse to play the new maps and end up disliking them in great part because they never learned how to play them. The new battle pass looks fun. Super interested how Ranked 2.0 will feel.

I like that you can tune ur aim and am excited for a new map, I love the tactical play of siege bc there’s no other game that does it like siege and I can’t tell you how many times you can be in a rank with people of just completely no game sense or map knowledge and it’s a little frustrating when trying to work together so this new skill based matchmaking will make ranked games a lot more evenly matched and overall a more fun experience playing with people who *truly* are around the same skill level as you, I feel some great changes coming to siege and I just pray they don’t stray from their tactical roots. It’s truly what makes this game a masterpiece

I very excited ya’ll are adding Cross-Plat and Cross-Progression. I hope ya’ll consider adding M&K support to console, but incorporate a manual input select. So before matchmaking, we can go into our settings and choose if we would like to play with Controller and be paired against those on Console or M&K and be matched against those with M&K.

Can we get a sensitivity slider on console for drones/cameras? Or could ADS sensitivity be activated via LT for better control? Pinging/shooting from drones can be a pain if you play on a higher sens

This is one of the biggest Ws for a season in siege history, pleade execute it well I beg you.
These changes, a great honestly, I know that I have a lot of small suggestions (like night time maps and old house in customs, bringing back the ability to switch firing type on guns, bringing back the notification that we got points for downing people, and a black ice weapon attachments) but ranked 2.0 looks so promising Excited for the next season!
not getting points for downing someone is a good thing, takes away random wall bangs and knowing you downed someone it will never be changed back.

People were abusing the fire type on console with macros. I believe that's why they removed it.
Honestly I’m most keen for the Cross- features, play with my glacier acc on pc and when I jump on Xbox I can play with my PlayStation mates

@@Karlach_ Yeah, that must be why the game's numbers have been on a steady decline for 4 years and counting. Don't get me wrong, I've loved this game long ago for a while. But they've milked this teat for too long, and in all the wrong ways, butchered it's tone and aesthetic to become a shadow of Fortnite collabs and streamlined mechanics to keep the money flow coming. It's why you ain't seeing another Tom Clancy game again. Why else did they make a mobile shitty version? To keep the money cow afloat that's clearly past it's expiration date, by exposing it to people who never played the main game and already numb to ever worsening microtransactions. You can keep living your fantasy, but I'm not gonna believe this peddled hype anymore.
I think that ship has sailed away nowadays siege isn't pulling any new players like they use to do instead the veteran players is what keeping it alive

I mean, it would be game changing. It's not like defense and attackers are the same. Each side plays very differently and has a different dynamic. Even if the gadget is similar, the way the game is played will be very different.

I have some concerns about ranked 2.0 So if I understand it correctly then, your "hidden matchmaking score" and your "displayed rank" will not correlate, for example your skill level is of a bronze player but you managed to rank up to gold, this way your displayed rank would not reflect your actual skill. Please correct me if I am wrong but if this truly is the case, then after this update we can't quite use rank to determine skill.
Suppose you managed to rank up to gold with bronze-level skills, then congrats to you. You are a gold player because if you genuinely had bronze, silver, or whatever skill level. Then you wouldn't rank up in first place.
This system is already being used in other games. Valorant uses the same system and it works great. The thing is that there are more factors t your skill than just your w/l ratio and this system takes it into account
Rank never reflected skill to begin with, just your W/L ratio. There's great players in lower ranks who don't have a stack and awful players in higher ranks who get carried all the time.
So, they have basically made the ranked system into a battle pass. No announcement yet if you can use R6 credits to rank up. Also, saying you re a champ player no longer means you are a good player. It now means you play the game. Your hidden MMR now determines your skill. So everyone is going to be saying: I am 3,300 MMR. Ok cool! Let’s play together. Also, if you run into a team that’s actually trying, there is no longer an incentive to beat them. So you might as well give them rook armor at the beginning of the round and surrender because there is no penalty for losing.
Tbh, rank doesn't really determine skill anyway.

finally advanced controller input options, something that should have been in the game since 5 years ago , but it still seems that it needs more options, like curvature mapping , other games have had this for years, in a game that has no aim assists having these settings is vital, it's crazy that they waited so many years to implement it and it only shows the huge disconnect with the playerbase, but I'm glad they are changing that and getting more engaged with the players , might even go back to siege depending on how good the input settings are.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't Rank 2.0 remove player competiveness in the community to reach "the top"? Basically, all you have to do to get to champ with this ranking system is to simply play..no? I would think that a ranking system like the og one helps create that feeling of thrill to try to reach the higher ranks by actually wanting to beat other players of higher skill (or those who have won multiple times enough to get there). Again, if I misunderstood this please correct me.

I'm glad they're improving the game. Especially against the toxicity. That's the biggest problem I face playing Siege. Most players are decent people. However, there's always at least one person that wants to ruin it for everyone else.

Things look and sound great and it seems like the devs are listening more to the community. Which is why I really hope they will listen to this. Please bring back night time mode in maps. Not just Favela. Even if it's just on quick matches. It gives a whole new flavor to Siege and prevents players from getting tired of the maps. When you removed it, it felt like you've taken out 20-30% of what Siege is. P.S. I also hope you will listen more to the casual players rather than just pro-players because it's the casual players who make up the bulk of your player base, and the pro-players usually only care about the balance of the game and not the fun side of it.

One thing I would like to see is no penalty (unless the affected player wants it) for killing friends in a squad (at least on casual). While I completely agree with penalties for random players, I think friends should have at least the option to troll their friends with no consequences.

@@lostforever773 It's not toxicity when both players are having fun, if the receiving player is not, they can penalise the other person, otherwise they can either move on with their lives (or in my case), turn it into a battle.
