Ciara is getting real about her weight loss journey! After revealing earlier this month that she was working to drop 70 pounds after the birth of her fourth child, Amora, the singer shared a photo of her weight on a scale.
For people saying she's not overweight, relax. She's been very slim all her life and she's probably just uncomfortable in her body. You don't have to be morbidly obese to be uncomfortable. Let her do what she feels she needs to do for herself.
Definitely she's a supermodel type, that is a different level, a different culture, healthier.

Actually she is at the proper weight she needs to be per her BMI and height. I’m 5’6” and I’m supposed to be 160 so I know that’s too little for her but hey 🤷🏾♀️😂😂😂who am I to talk
She’s not 5’9 she’s 5’7. I’m 5’10 and when I start getting into the 180lbs territory I start to look a little thick, so at her height she would be overweight at her current weight. She doesn’t need to lose 70 pounds tho

I dont think the 181 is her starting weight i believe she said on another platform that she's already lost alot of the weight I'm thinking she's aiming for about 150 lbs. This is just my observations of what i believe is happening ❤

I was thinking the same thing because the video says that in December her goal was to release 70lbs. My thought was that the scale picture is a more current one from some time in April.

Her voice don't even sound the same but yeah she's not overweight. I think she looks good with a lil meat.
I could be wrong but I think she is on the tall side. Taller people carry weight a little differently.
It might be heavy on her joints you never know what someone else’s body is experiencing

It depends on the person's body. 110lbs, 115lbs is actually a healthy weight for some people depending on their height. I've also heard doctors talk about BMI (body mass index) also playing a role in someone's weight. 🤷 I'm 5'6 and plus size. I don't wish to be 110lbs personally but I DO I wish I was 140lbs-150lbs.
Exactly what I came here to say. She wants to be 110 pounds?! Married with several children and standing at 5’7”. To prove what though? Even Banner Health’s Ideal Weight Chart shows this range for women standing 5’7”: 122 - 149 lbs.

Too many women are fixated on a number on scale when we should be building muscle the older we get and do away with what the scale says.
No we should not do away with the scale! That’s why Americans are so unhealthy.
Great advice especially after around thirty you start to lose 1% of muscle each year if you are not maintaining them.
It is actually the opposite to many women aren't worried about their appearance or health enough. This is why women have such a high obesity rate. If more women looked after their weight like Ciara they would be happier. The comments alone show that women do not like seeing women be healthy and they are ignant on what being overweight is.

111 lbs at her height??? I think she already lost 30lbs and now at 181 lbs is working on 40lbs more to get to 141 lbs, hence 70 lbs

It's very normal to want to be at your normal starting weight before you get pregnant.

70lbs?!....seems extreme for her height. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs looked so frail on my frame, can't imagine Ciara.
70 lbs😳...I thought I was miscalculating....I'm assuming a good portion of her weight is muscle. She still looks good. I'm 5'8 & weight trained professionally & @ my peak was 175, but lean muscle & FIT(wore size 6) ...similar build as Ciara. @145 lbs when I started, but wore size 10-12🤯. I know she has to know @ this point, it's more about lean muscle & inches than body fat. In fact after training 1st month or 2, NEVER got on scale....attention was on how my clothes fit & change in body composition👌🏽

That doesn’t mean she has to be that. The average American is unhealthy to. No one wants that.
Weight on the scale varies differently for everyone. Body structure, height, and genetics all play a role. 181 is not overweight on a women 5’’7 -5’10 but it would look very different on a woman 5’3. Ciara looks amazing but a person’s weight should be based on how they feel in their skin and clothing. That’s different for every woman. She is beautiful though.
I feel you cc I was up there from 135 but after my last baby some of the weight didn’t shed as much lol I’m embracing it now though

I'm 5'9 and weigh 118 lbs. (I've always weighed 118 since high school, no matter how my body changes: more weight in hips/thighs, going up a size in clothing etc., the scale never changed from 118 lol, and I'm 35 now 🤷🏾♀️) I love my body size, but 135 lbs would be my ideal weight but I never could get there 😂 sooo 118 it is LOL!
Aside from her wanting to get down close to high energy stature & I kinda get it she’s always been tall & toned I love the way she talks about missy & busta that was so loving 🫶🏽

I haven't been 110 lbs since high school and earliest years of college. I don't ever want to be that petite again. 130-140 lbs is my ideal weight. For me that's a slim body but still curvy in the right places only. I was 145 when I found out I was pregnant with my son 10 years ago. I stayed slim throughout the pregnancy until I stopped going for my daily walks due to weirdos constantly offering me rides when they would see me out walking for excercise. I'm 5'5" weighing 167 lbs. It may take time but I'm going to drop 30 lbs. I did it before and will do it again. I hope Ciara finds herself at a healthy weight that she will be satisfied with and not put too much pressure on herself. But entertainers often strive to look model perfect in body image. Looks sell in their line of work. More so than talent.
She is 5’7”, my height. Her weight range is 133-163. I hope she was 210 when she started cause 70lbs is to much if she’s starting at 181lbs.

How tall is she? I’m 4’11. 110 pounds is perfect actually. And gaining 5 pounds is like a normal height person gaining 25 pounds. People don’t understand how these numbers work on different bodies. how body composition play into things. She wants to be all muscle or skinny fat? She’s gonna need strength and stamina for her shows. And breastfeeding loses like 500 calories a day. That girl is gonna reach her goals super quick she will start changing them.

That’s my weight and I got no kids 😂. Just happy weight but I do want to lose it. Im gonna have to go to the DR and get those diet pills again. Cause by myself I’m struggling. I love this for her. People don't understand that extra weights causes joint pain because your body is constantly trying to compensate for the weight you suddenly gained. This will cause inflamation. If you've always been small from teenage, passed your 20s and into your 30s, a few pounds or 50 or 60bls will be a thorn in your side. Ciara..lose the weight so you can run around with your kids 🎉
