1 thing that i love about the Xr is the simplistic camera..since I'm not into camera..the Xr fits my taste perfectly..1 good camera in front and 1 at back..looks clean..

I think replacing the battery at the apple store will help a lot in battery performance. Im sitting at 84% battery capacity and it lasts me the whole day (that being said Im not a heavy user). Bought mine in 2019 and love it to death!
Won’t make that much of a difference. You’ll start to notice real performance degradation when you drop below 80%

The batterylife was insanely good when the XR launched. It's fairly cheap on my local Used/Refurbished market but the 3gb ram is only thing I would consider a downside as the 11 is a worthy upgrade from the XR.

My grandpa just found a broken XR in the e-waste at the university he works at, brought it home to see if it worked, apparently the battery’s good, but the screen’s bad, and I’m like, if I can get it fixed, can I have it? And he’s like, go for it! So fingers crossed it works! I’ve wanted an XR since apple released them😂

I love this phone so much! It’s my main phone and it has been for years and I don’t plan to upgrade any time soon. Also unrelated, but how’d you get that cool calendar widget on the Home Screen? Edit: I haven’t updated to 16.3 yet but by the time you see this I probably will have lol.

Much like you, my first iPhone was the 5s back in 2016. I've been mostly an android guy, but lately I am frustrated with androids having lesser build quality, and most struggle with static free and good call quality. I wound up ordering a XR yesterday because even in 2023 it's a great value. I had it a few times previously and never had issues with it. Most complained about the display, but it was bright enough and the colors were accurate. Same for the cameras if you aren't a tech person then you likely wouldn't even notice the display or camera. Because the XR just works well. And it holds up against newer iPhones and runs basically the same. At $226 I gave for the one I ordered it's a great value.

@@darbybluish I got the 64 gb version because I rarely go over 35 gb on storage in my phones. It's nice to have 128 gb version to ensure you always have plenty storage but I've never filled up a 64 gb phone.

Yea i agree.. i was about to buy iphone xs max last month but i kinda opted not to so i decided to maybe go to xr.. but no more brandnew stock left all are refurbished or second hand. Nothing wrong with that but i can actually wait a lil bit to save some more to go to the ip11 because theres still brandnew ones out there. And i did. I am enjoying it now. Coming from a midrange android phone (samsung A32) this was a huge upgrade. Svcks that people are actually commenting to me that i made a wrong choice cause ip11 is not worth it anymore. Its outdated and slow. The camera is just the decent thing, the battery svcks blah blah but i like my phone... it was a bday gift for myself ❤😢
Agree, I have been using the 11 for around 6-7 months and so far I haven't had any issues, it is a very nice phone. However, it is important to point out that I bought it brand new a month before apple stopped selling it, also a little bit before iPhone 14 was released. I don't know if a refurbished one will work as good, but again, still a good phone, besides, it was an upgrade from my A32, which was kinda bad if you ask me
