  • I am so very happy I grew up different. 40 years ago at school in Cambridge I had Indian friends intelligent and successful parents, I emulated them we were taught on how to save and we even had a "Stock market game" were we had to get a newspaper every day to look at the stock market and "invest" money on paper. Today, I have no debt, have a credit score way above 800 and can "survive" years without touching any savings. My family on the other hand is totally different. Everybody has debt and my grandson, being in 12th grade, has no clue about stock market, crypto, investing or saving in general. He wants an iPhone, Earpods and a Dodge Charger and no matter what I teach them, they will not listen for a second. I feel so bad for them as they will have a hard live but I tried many times.

    • haha no, I work with an investment adviser, I influence her strategies with most of my decisions. we are pro cash while also in the money market and trading currencies. So yes I am still in the markets. I made quite some profit in the past 2 months, we are constantly adding to my watchlist having rebalanced my portfolio. I own a $2M portfolio and Monica oversees all activities on the account.

  • ANYTHING! Alux team, I'm a 17 yrs old boy who lives in Africa and all my life since I was 12. I thought I was doing the right thing but through this video. It opened my eyes that we ( as youngsters) have told yourself, that our lives were as perfect as seasons of the year and we thought it was but it was the opposite, we aren't gaining but losing who we were(inner-self). little by little, we are destroying our selves and our future. So please Recreate this video with a goal to make a solution for this mess( or genocide) by social media.

They have no clue that there’s a big yellow bike approaching! When I get to work, my students can’t keep their hands and eyes off their phones during class.

  • I've never felt more seen and heard until this video. Yes, I'm a millennial. And this hit me hard. Number 3 was definitely imposter syndrome and I've felt that way for years. What has kept me sane and humble this past year was listening to the alux app and this KZhead channel, fixing my credit, taking action on my health, getting into a new relationship that came outta nowhere and figuring out what I truly desire. Now I'm doing more this year with actionable results. I'm keeping quiet on that for now. Let's just say ANYTHING is possible.

  • Unsure the proportions between generations, either way seems a minority amongst young & old, but to be attentive, willing to learn/inquire, adapt, overcome obstacles & implement with devotion (let alone courage at times) the best of what you come to learn/understand. More often than not notice people plateau at some point. Can still have a good life, but is about it. Not exhilarating or great, but good.

  • Inflation & wage stagnation as well as increasing education costs mean that younger generations really have no incentive to get a career, get educated, or work towards financial stability. It’s so expensive to survive, owning a home & affording kids is a long-shot for me & many others. Also, the government forcing pregnancies through banning abortions doesn’t really help us Gen Z women want to get pregnant. My sex life has basically died because I am in a state where abortion is illegal & I can’t afford a kid at all. Nor do I even want a kid or marriage.

  • Behavioural note from regular viewer. I avoided this video thus far because the subject matter seemed "exhausting," and the thumbnail design felt incongruous. Title failure "Exhausting": I usually come to Alux for ways to get better, and to shine a light on some techniques to that effect. Which winners are out there starting their day with an overview presentation of all their frustrations without accompanying guidance? Some hint that there's a better way, and you have it embedded somewhere in the video would add positivity and attractiveness to the title for this Aluxer. Thumbnail: Maybe it's because they're well dressed good looking women with lounge-like conversational body language in a well appointed environment. It doesn't scream "exhausted and struggling with important difficulties." Mostly it makes me anxiously want to avoid the negativity of a bitching session. I hope that's somehow insightful!
