  • Here in India, there is a traditional tooth powder from south India... made from clove, cinnamon and other roots, herbs. Its spicy, not sweet at all, perfect for us Indians. It works wonders for all the dental problems.

    • Hey, they have a toothbrush that connects to an app and it tells you where you need to brush more and for how long. It’s like motion tracked and I think you take some type of scan of your teeth because it tells you which area needs more attention

  • You asked for comments. I make mine with 50/50 salt and baking soda. No need for any more abrasives. I believe the clay has benefits; I don't need the extra cost. If I did use clay, it would be for its ability to draw out toxins more than abrasion. Mix that with coconut oil and you're done. I have also added cinnamon powder for flavor. I've used Myrrh powder sometimes after finding out it was good for the gums, taste was nasty, but it seemed to work really well. I put my dry ingredients in a spice blender to powder it as much as possible, I don't want to much abrasion. Warm the coconut oil in the jar you will keep it in and just add the powder to the ratio you want. I go 50/50 again. No cutting board needed. If you use liquid flavor add it last while the oil is still warm. No need for color but if you do, I would use a natural ingredient. The salt is the key and main ingredient and there is nothing you can do to hide that taste. I have seen videos of people saying coconut oil may cause softening of the teeth. I have to look into that more. I might try Aloe vera gel next. You don't really need any liquid or gel, just wet your toothbrush and touch the powder. This toothpaste works great for me, and you'll be amazed at how clean your toothbrush stays. Go easy on the brushing, it can be very abrasive.

  • Great video, great job making it look just like toothpaste. My toothpaste is close to yours... but I dip my toothbrush into it. I add xylitol, and Herbs Etc brand Mouth Tonic in my toothpaste, and I use way more salt then you use. I don't use bentonite clay or coconut oil. Ignore the taste -- after some time you won't notice it. My dental hygienist asked me one time what toothpaste I use, to keep my gums looking so healthy!

  • I use organic charcoal and coconut oil one twice a week. Also twice week coconut 🥥 oil and turmeric I recommend do it on day off cause of temporary stain. Coconut oil and baking powder polish and cleaning.
