  • I’m a 63 year old single male. I have minimized my life down to its least common denominator. I get up at 4 am, I say my prayers of gratitude, I shower and shave, have a healthy breakfast then walk to the gym. Workout then walk to work. I’m prepping food, cooking, doing dishes, sweeping and mopping. I don’t have to do this but like to keep moving and being a valuable and dependable employee. I find that reading, listening to audiobooks about positive and beautiful things helps mitigate feelings of stress and loneliness. Keeping the mind and body engaged.

  • It’s a hectic life in one way or another sometimes I feel like I’ve not had much quality in my life so much trauma from over the years it stolen my today’s and my tomorrow’s can never find peace in the present moment it’s changed me as a person I feel like the project of broken pieces with some bits missing I’d love to know who I may have been if I’d not been broken so many times thank you Connie for showing me a direction to help me feel better

  • Thank you I really needed this video today. I woke up this morning feeling so deflated after just having a short break away, away from my busy working life and running a home. The thought of going back to work and my busy routine of household chores just got me down. However watching your video has made me realise it doesn’t really matter if some of my chores don’t get done. So I am right now sitting quietly reading before the teatime chores start.

    • Lovely Connie" your so inspiring and kind helpful words help so many people I'm sure. What a beautiful tranquil setting on the rocks over that lovely blue water. I've overcome my stressful anxiety filled life from retraining my brain to think differently.. I was overwhelmed with stress for several years which affected my swallowing liquids. I just couldn't swallow liquids as anxiety was taking it's toll on me as my throat would tighten up. However I finally learnt to relax and be able to swallow again.

  • Lovely as always Connie. I'm not sure that you are no longer 'strong enough' to deal with the stresses that come along, I think it's more that you now pay much more attention to how life is, what's coming at you and make different choices about your priorities. I know it's certainly a statement that flows through my mind since having adrenal fatigue, along with some other major life events. But listening to you say it today made me think of both of us. Two different reasons, but same outcome. I am now very vigilant about what I give my time and energy to. I think we are not too similar and age, and I think that plays a part, but when you have had to prioritise your health over almost everything, you see how unimportant so many things are that you were chasing after, committing to and how many people accessed your time and energy, because you allowed it out of a need to help them. Often with no return or gratitude. It often takes something major happening to us for us 'strong' ones to actually wake up and set the days and our time straight. More often than not, you ending helping more people out of the slow, simple way you now go about life, than the hectic, be there for everything past. We may never have had the wonderful opportunity to experience this beautiful, calming, peaceful side of you that is living life now. Always love your videos Connie. You are a blessing and your strength shows through in every clip. It takes strength, love and commitment to do all the things you are doing. It just looks very different to the you before your accident, but this Connie is no more less than previous Connie. She may be even more. Have a beautiful week lovely one.

  • Thank you for this calming video. I was going to comment and suggest if you could at add the country you are in when filming because. But I discovered, you already have. I have such wonderful memories of Montenegro. Budva was the last vacation destination my Mom and I traveled together when I was 18 and came back to Germany after a year in the States. Could you maybe talk about in an upcoming video how you plan your trips and how you always find these beautiful apartments/houses fully equipped with clean kitchens 😉.   • I am new here and really enjoyed your video. It was beautiful and so peaceful. I don't really get stressed at all, but I have been overwhelmed in the past. I have learned to take things in stride and enjoy the moment I am in without worrying about what else has to be done. I put it for something to do later, but I am a goal accomplisher, so that is not fun for me to know I didn't finish what I set out to, but I sigh and let it go. The lists you do are very much in line with life coaching. Perhaps you went through coaching or training for it? maybe it is just how you are about accomplishing goals. I hope to stick around to see your future videos. Thanks.

  • I see my daughter's life just like I used to have the same life. A teacher a stressful job, no time for myself. And I often get very stressed about my adult children's lives and I have to let it go. My cat snuggles with me and reminds me that things can wait. Chores will be there.😻
