I think Crispin has been waiting his entire career to have someone who understands him interviewing him. Nardwuar is that guy 100%.
This guy is so meticulous about his work and almost psychopathic in his research…….the other guy is Crispin Glover.
Lol
Hehehehehee yea boi!

You can never tell what year Crispin Glover is in he always looks 30
Yeah, I thought this was from a week ago.
duh cuz he's back from the past. or something like that
@@scottmatznick3140 back from the future
he stays young using that skin lotion and skin oil
He and Ralph machio have great genes
Crispin has the most unusual energy of anybody ever. Like he's confident but a complete introvert at the same time. I feel like all of his answers are sincere but also like he might collect squirrel skins in his basement.
😂
for sure rats at least
first time i've seen anyone come close to matching nardwuar
As Tom Wilson (Biff) says "Crispin is a weird guy, but not nearly as weird as he thinks he is."
He was incredible in American gods
only crispin could out eccentric narduar. Its surprising how narduar lets hhm fully get his answers out.
That’s what I was thinking. Nardwuar is accustomed to being the wackiest guy in a situation, but Crispin wasn’t phased one bit by it.
Incredible. I knew Marty had messed with the timeline, but this is getting out of hand
Great Scott!
He was like the hulk snapping back martys siblings into existence
he became an author at the end of the first one.
🤣😂🤣 I laughed hard at this. Awesome comment.
You're my density. I mean my destiny.....Go George!
It's great that Nardwuar lets him finish his answers in his own time, he's not being rushed to the next network approved question...
Nard is literally the best
Yup
that's a damn good point.
Cool residents pfp
the camera man is a legend for his nose profile shot while talking about his nose
timestamp lmao
@@RileyBanksWho 11:20
bruh I couldn't stop laughing he focused on the nose for so long
I saw this comment as soon as the moment happened in the video, what a trip.
It's brilliant 😅
his role in rivers edge is so incredible
I bought that movie on DVD. Depressing movie, but good.
Thats one of my favourite crispin glover characters. The film is unrelentingly grim but then crispin is so over the top, and frankly comical. It shouldnt work, and yet alot of the film's brilliance is owed to his performance... honestly I think about him in that film all the time
Such an awesome flick!! One of my all time favorites!
Lol! Crispin Glover has the funniest lines in "The River's Edge!" When he drinks the warm beer in the car. "It's warm even!!!" Lol!
Love that movie!
crispin is like a timid henry rollins
Wow. Yes that’s it!
Lol!😃
He has honest depth Rollins tries to portray himself as having
Henry Who?
lmao
Crispin is obviously a highly intelligent and creative person and a unique and unusual character. Nardwuar is a lovable nut.
My density has bought me to this. Crispin has aged better than essentially anyone. I think he may be part vampire.
Even though crispin is kind of baffled by nardwuar's shtick and isnt really into the contemporary music scene, theres a strong kindred sort energy going on here. He really matches nard's hunger for like... thinking.
This is a remarkable moment in time. These two guys go together like ham and whiskey. Just wonderful 👍
Rum and ham you mean. 😉
@@MaterShake-yq9rn naw, whiskey
cripsin glover did the most perfect doot doot i could possibly imagine
I got the chance to see the show and What Is It a bit before the panini and it was one of the craziest movie/theatre experiences in existence. It really is a long show, well over three hours with the Q&A at the end. They guys at the theatre kept coming to pointing at their watches and Crispin was like , yeah we'll be done soon... hour and half later they come in again. It was truly amazing. Crispin can really talk forever. I think Nardwuar might have met his match in quirky weirdness.
I looked up on his webpage - looks really dark? Can you give a mini-review of the film itself?
@@DeconvertedMan ^^ what he said!
@@DeconvertedMan during the slideshow/bookreading at the beginning I was so caught of guard by just the pure absurdity of what I was witnessing. I was just sitting there wide eyed and about halfway through I had a laughing fit that basically continued until the movie. 100% recommend if you ever get the chance to see it just be aware going in that you have to have an open mind, sit through the painful parts (I did have moments where I was asking myself if I should get up and leave) and listen to what Crispin has to say at the end. And be prepared to be there for 5 hours.
@@leighannenight wow thanks! sounds like quite the experance!
The readings are great. Very theatrical.
People are going to miss this man more than they realize when he’s gone. Although this was closer to decades ago than not. Always cherish true artists in person whenever you all can while they are doing what they do. Never ever ever rely upon the assorions that whoever they are but that “they@ will “always be around” because they may have prior to your awareness. I’ve seen thousands of shows from every Beatle but Lennon, to CSNY Iggy, Bowie, (sadly no Lou) but thousands of different acts from Simon & Garfunkel to Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds and also Smile to Radiohead post Sid reunion Sex Pistols and even nirvana in 93 and the first few lollapaloozas and all those artists and the 4TB through 7th Coachella and and and so many more but go see artists live asap. Peace and love
Thanks to this interview, I have now experienced Crispin Glover's "Clowny Clown Clown" music video, and I will never be the same again... Now, I must do a deep dive into all things Crispin (I have no choice) 😄
Crispin's work is really fascinating, and i love that Nardwuar isn't the weird one in the room.
Crispin is such a kind soul
Crispin Glovers dad past away today. Rip Bruce Glover.
😔
What a missed opportunity to not make him Joker.
Crispín Glover... is Arthur in the real life, is excéntric and deep.
The Crispin Glover slide-show featuring It is Fine, Everything is Fine was the best show i've ever seen and I was so mesmerized that I could hardly move. I don't remember if asked a question during the Q&A because I had so many.
Some people want to win an Oscar. Others want to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Me? I want to get famous enough to get interviewed by Nardwaur the Human Serviette.
I love Crispin Glover so much. His approach to acting, literature and music are all really intriguing to me even if they're flawed. Rat Catching is one of my favourite books.
Thank you for releasing this
I love narduwars videos, cheers from Ontario dude! ✌🇨🇦
This is definitely one of his most INTERESTING interviews.
Watching this makes me believe that Crispin was the perfect casting for George McFly
Crispin Glover da 🐐 no 🧢
What is he the goat of?
Bro wtf
💀
whoa this was from 2008 it feels so 2022
This is the most quiet I've seen Nard. Crispin has taken over the show.
Crispin glover is extremely mysterious.
he seems like the same person as in back to the future. This man is awesome
What a fascinating and interesting man. Very well-spoken and knowledgable. Spectacular interview as always!
"but I couldn't have a book reading"
Hellion is the best middle name, I love this guy! I still have a card flyer from one of his performances in the late 90s in S.F. I really miss that club and those times. Feral House still publishes, I wish their channel had more subscribers, R.I.P. Adam Parfrey.
this is like best quality old interview (:
Here for the absolute surrealness.
This is so unbelievably awesome! Love you and Crispin so very much.
Had the pleasure of seeing a screening of Crispin's two films. Really nice man.
Crispen Glover is so talented he was an early 2000’s legend. His movies were great
Are great
The first thing I did upon finding this gem of an interview was research Crispin’s age , he hasn’t age at all , and is in his late 50s , and something else that I was mind blown , he portrayed “Andy Warhol” , in the film about the rock band “The Doors “ , I was brown away by who was that actor , until I found out it was Crispín , it was the most perfect thing, he nailed it perfectly, another fun fact , he had never been married or have kids but one of his girlfriends was a Penthouse pet of the month beauty , Crispín is a very intelectual and fascinating character, very intriguing, original and interesting
Yep, he’s aged incredibly well and his intellect and creativity are pretty fascinating. I don’t think Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis are fans, but hey, you can’t please everyone.
Glad to see some Much Music era interviews!
I always appreciate interviewers who don't rush their guests, and give the conversation room to breathe.
His essay on Spielberg is awesome
Nardwuar hasnt aged in like 15 years lol
This interview was in 2008
@@dye.minnesota yes, and if you look at his most recent interview, he looks no different lmao
@@dye.minnesota That was his point…
Right! Neither of them do!😅
"obviously you cant use all this" Oh crispin if only you knew Nard proceeds to upload the entire thing unedited (the best way)
Crispin Glover doesn't age, he's frozen in time.
Wonderful!
highly underrated actor
In some ways he reminds me of John Cassavetes - how he would do his "commercial" acting gigs to bankroll his groundbreaking independent films. I'm sure he also learned a lot from his father on how to survive in Hollywood.
Ah yes. The late great Danny Glover. Top rates.
Nardwuar you're a living legend man
Terrific interview
2 legends
before even starting - I can't believe this matchup actually exists. Here we go....
Both these men have spent their lives as 1 character each. Kinda cool.
Glover: "Yeah, no way you're gonna use all of this footage - there's just too much!" Nardwuar: "Challenge Accepted!"
Crispin Glover looks like all the Wilson brother’s mashed together with the voice of Luke and Owen
He's their Father... Little known fact.
WHOA.
I bet this was the best interview ever for crispen
his character in Charlie’s Angels makes sense now
This is the closest we'll get to a Nardwuar and Andy Warhol interview, sadly.
I hope that others look into those books, Rat Catching and Oak Mott, as well as the two movies he's discussing here. Crispin Glover highly underrated. Also the music video for "Clowny Clown Clown" is high-octane nightmare fuel.
I have studied crispin for years, and then narduwar, knower of all, interviews him. What a damn shame I didn’t get to finish my research
I found a link between him and reviewbrah
@@Kinodawker wait really? what link
I can imagine Crispin Glover playing Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.
Bateman was supposed to be like a yuppie. A slick, completely normal businessman type who’s vain, obsessed with fitness and wealth, but secretly a monster. Glover’s one of my fav actors, but I don’t see him pulling off Bateman’s exterior, “normal”, superficial yuppie type. He’s rarely, if ever, played normal. Now, he could play Bateman’s inner monologue, maybe. 🤣
@@thescroot Spuzzwick is correct.
a real meeting of the minds
Only you, my magnificent anthropomorphic paper towel, could conduct an interview with this notoriously mercurial man that the result, contrary to the bulk of his prior experience, is that Glover finds himself the one caught flat-footed, with the internal monologue reading something to the effect of, "What an eccentric individual I've come to encounter! Napkin Golem, yours is a most refreshing divergence from routine." I am here for it,
Lmao solid comment

Napkin Golem 💀😂🤣🤣 Love it!
I love Crispin. He’s a genuinely eccentric dude. Not like so many of those phony bolognas out there.
Yeah he’s the real weird deal.
🔥 video
I wish this interview never ended
I have Crispin's "Big problem" album and it's spoken word sections always appear so randomly, yet perfectly placed in my playlist.
I've never seen Nardwaur break his freeze face at the end for anyone. Only Crispin Hellion Glover...
He broke for Lil B. I’ve never seen Lil B and Crispin Hellion Glover in the same room.
He dailled everything way back to meet Crispin's energy and the subject matter of the interview.
omg! i love crispin glover!
This is awesome. Is it the first time it’s been uploaded?
Such a great artist!
Interesting interview and cool guy
Crispin Glover. Excellent and thoroughly clear communication. Admirable skill. He took over. Fascinating. He is the real thing- a true authentic Artist!
Narduwar really brought out the best in Crispin during this interview. ❤
this is fucking amazing
Was just talking about his character in BTTF to my brother, I was telling him to beat the bullies & come out your best version. Character is dependent upon what you do and what you won’t.
ONe of the best. I dont know why, but I loved that. And Crispin got the trademark phrase right away on the money. Its a classic theme though, " Shave an a haircut", but Crispins pretty sharp. MAn , hard to beleive this was almost 15 years ago ^
I kept hoping Nard would mention the Warlock Pinchers song “Where the hell is Crispin Glover”.
Crispin Glover is like The Report of the Week if he was an actor. ♥ them both.
i don't get this analogy
No, they have nothing in common besides wearing suits and being offbeat.
I legit love this man
I watch some of Crispin's interviews from back in the day on David Letterman, dude is wild lol.
I'm 20 btw, my dad told me to look it up XD
Cool dad.
Name someone more suited to conduct this interview, I’ll wait
Waiting is what made it great. Narduar is a very respectful interviewer
An unstoppable force meets an unmovable object
I miss that green cased cd - it was very well done
One of my favorite actors, Willard is my favorite of his so far
He was great in BACK TO THE FUTURE 2. as well.
OMG, Willard it's My FAVORITE TOO!!!!! OMG, omg, omg, SOCRATES I MIS SO MUCH!!!!! 😣😭

The Big Problem was one of my favorite records as a teen!

This is dope
Crispin Glovers in role in Rivers Edge is so funny. He plays a great speeded up lunatic.
I've been smoking and am fairly high. I'm 3:50 in and I don't know what life is!!!
Is this a re-upload? I'm certain I watched this interview like 3 weeks ago....? Hmmmmm..... Edit: Is this the unedited version?
