Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.

  • awesome game, but in a map like that siege chopper is the key. You can put them in defense with insane range from high ground and then use them for fast killing enemy bases after the nuke instead of Kirov

    • I think in this situation I wasn't feasible to build the repair bay yet. It seemed like he had to focus on defending and getting the airships out before he could get it built.

    • After playing Starcraft 2 a lot and going back to Red Alert 2 (maybe the height of C&C games,) repair is not cost-effective in terms of time. Dude is already playing like a Korean Starcraft vet, repair bays were for hour long turtling diversions, it was actually kinda shit. Part of the downfall of C&C really.

  • ruh im not really a pro at playing soviets, but THIS IS another reason why I usually have back up MCV ready , incase I loose my HQ center. *tip just make 1-2 for your next one just incase that shit happens again* I play mostly allied and I SPAM land UNITS like the PRISM TANK and harrires for important buildings. they're cheap to make and can be replaced almost instantly :)

    • I think that in general in all C&C games, it would be true if the AI would build a lot more defensive structures. Maybe just in the last games (RA3 and TW) they changed it.

    • But there is the thing called multitasking, or more appropriately called alternating between different tasks in quick succession. Ain’t nobody will wait you to complete defending your base before sending another attack wave. It is true, however, that he may need to focus one thing a bit more than the other and avoid tunnel vision.

    • Estelle Bright I watched many of his videos. Usually if he didn’t pay attention to his tanks or soldiers they’ll killed only after finishing attacking one or two targets. Then he has to rebuild or retrain. I think it wastes a long time.

  • You lost your dear base,right??.Mistake of even every pro player I have noticed of not building the service depot.You can repair your damaged vehicles without having the need to make another of them and most importantly manufacture MCVs if you lose your construction yard.But,I have seen no player doing that.It doesnt take u to be a pro to build a service depot.But nobody does it😱😱😱
