  • I didn't know that had ever been done. I missed several years of watching men's gymnastics. Just getting back into it and trying to actually learn the names of skills or to at least recognize differences. Things back in the 90s were a lot different!

  • Man gymnastics show how incredible humans can be. Imagine learning how to do that to your body - considering your body weight / gravity/ special notion and awareness of the bar/ had grips / strength on your upper body like firearms, last, abs, know how fast you have to move for the right height over the bar in order to execute the movements and the control while in the air in order to return to the bar. It’s almost impossible when you just think about it

    • People say it looks easy, because gymnasts have such perfect form, so it makes look many stuff easy. Only when you try concrete elements you can understand the difficulty. It's like people who have never done gymnastics say they probably would not be able to do a front tuck (like me). Hell no they would be able to do that. 😂 It's just look 'easy' to them, because I perfected the element. And when you think about it, some elements look easy, but they're definitely not. They look easy because gymnasts make them effortlessly with smiles on their faces.

  • when i first saw the tkachev salto (back giants to a front flip over the bar to a regrasp) i thought back to the jaeger, and thought “what if someone was doing front giants, did a backflip over the bar, and regrasped back into front giants? like a tkachev salto, but backwards?!
