20 maze chase games that copied gameplay from Pac-Man. These look-a-likes and clones were released on platforms such as arcade cabinets, Apple II, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and Atari 2600.
Some of these games were blatant rip-offs of the original Pac-Man, while others only copied a little. All of these games have a maze with enemies and "pellets" to collect.
There are definitely more games that closely resemble Pac-Man. I'll cover more in a future video.

Jawbreaker - Apple II (Atari 2600 version is very different with a unique moving maze gimmick that distinguishes it from Pac-Man) Snack Attack - Apple II Taxman and Super Taxman - Apple II Crazy Otto - Mod kit for Pac-Man machine, eventually became Ms Pac-Man Crazy Gobbler - Emerson Arcadia 2001 (never heard of this system lol) Dung Beetles - Apple II Gobble Ghost - also known as Gobble a Ghost, ZX Spectrum Gulpman - ZX Spectrum Hot Lips - Atari 8-bit Hungry Horace - ZX Spectrum Lock'n'Chase - Atari 2600 (arcade version is less similar to Pac-Man) Mouse Trap - Intellivision Munchkin - also known as KC Munchkin, Magnavox Odyssey (in fact became a target of legal action by creators of Pac-Man) Spectre - Apple II Lady Bug - Intellivision Monster Munch - C64 Pakacuda - ZX Spectrum Alien - I genuinely can't find anything about it. It looks like ZX Spectrum I guess? Money Hungry - I can't find this one either.
Lock'n'Chase - Intellivision Alien - ZX Spectrum Money Hungry - I think it's a Intellivision

Some good memories of an edited version of Jawbreaker, and of Snack Attack on the Apple as a kid. Amusingly, Taxman ended up becoming AtariSoft's Apple port of Pac-Man.

Me: Mom Can We Play Pac-Man?! Mom: We Have Pac-Man At Home! Pac-Man At Home:
crazy otto isn't a clone it's the prototype of ms. pac-man
Taxman Isn’t A Clone It’s The New Game Of Apple II
It is scary what you think are clones
It's a shame you used the awful Apple II version of Jawbreaker instead of the original Atari 800 version. And Hot Lips isn't even a Pac-Man clone. And several of these are home ports of arcade games.
Would have really liked a list of which system these were on. Arcade, Apple 2, etc
Yeah I definitely should have done that…I’ll try to edit it in if I can
If i was the owner of Namco I'd ban every one of these expect the Apple II, Mousetrap and Monster Gobbler or whatever the name is lol
Crazy gobbler.
oooooooo 1983 so much 😎
