I'm a new international MIRROR fan and i don't even understand or read Cantonese but i enjoy their works! just seeing them appear on the screen is enough to make me smile like a fool, I'd laugh when they laugh hahaha. Not only the fandom is lack of engsubber, it's also hard to find their songs in pinyin so i can't even sing along to some of my favorite song :') PLUS, where can i buy the merchandiseee ;; i envy local fans so baddd

I am a Hong Konger who recently moved to the UK. I’m a huge Keung Candy and has already connected with Keung Candies here. You can try looking for their overseas fans club. Amen with the merchandise situation. I’m buying them online and shipping th to my friends in HK. And they will ship to me later lol it’s a lot of hassle. A stable fans base has been accumulated for most of the candidates during the production of Good Night Show. With this competitive advantage, Mirror was formed in the same year! #keungto #姜濤 is one of the main character, whose stage performance is significant and impressive, getting more and more popular and so is Mirror. Thanks for making a video introducing Mirror. They really connected many Hong Kongers, even people not in Hong Kong. More people pay attention to Cantonpop because of them. There is a few sentences touching me. 'Mirror might not be the perfect group, not all of them are the best dancers or singers, but they are the perfect reflection of Hong Kongers at this moment in time.' Hong Kongers experienced a really difficult time in the past two years. Many of us left our home, in order to get a better life. But a big thanks to Mirror, bringing happiness to Hong Kongers under a sad atmosphere. Being a Hong Konger and a fan of Mirror overseas, I really appreciate them, thank you for encouraging me to chase my dream, and feeling loyalty even not in Hong Kong.

Keung To’s early life story is inspiring. Besides his losing weight story, his McDonlad story is interesting, too. It seems like underdog movie. Keung To loves eating McDonald hamburger 🍔. His unhealthy eating style in childhood caused him obesity. Even, he worked as a part-time job in McDonald when he studied. After his losing weight and pursuit the dream story, he is starring as McDonald which promote a “Keung B meal” in March this year. The sales rate of “Keung B meal” campaign is better than “BTS meal” campaign in Hong Kong this year.

Well said x10000!!! We love mirror coz they are made in Hong Kong. They saved us when we were struggling out of difficult emotions and lightened the darkness. Also the heart stirring lyrics and upbeat music keep our continuing support. 💜Jeremy💜 is the member i most appropriated. He sings so well with a great stability in stage performance, not to mention his attractive outlook in all kinds of styles.
They bring hope to HK cantopop as each of them have different talents. I love them as a group #MIRROR and their song Warrior is my recommendation. They also have solo songs. My favorites are the captain #LokmanYeung as a rapper & the vice captain #AnsonKong who has challenged different genres such as rock, Jap jazz, etc. His new songs Blue Monkey & Guilt Machine MVs were shot in the US. 🤩🤩

This is so far the most comprehensive, the deepest video in English to explain why Mirror is so popular in Hong Kong. Your video touches my heart.
I started out as someone who got annoyed by them because of all the adverts and promotions. I was never one to 'stan' idols, I've always stuck to anime and tv shows. I thought to myself, ugh these people trying to copy kpop? bleh. But ever since Hong Kong did their version of Japan's boys love drama 'Ossan's love', which starred two of the members as the romantic main leads, I was bewildered by the companies willingness to take risks and became increasingly curious about mirror. Needless to say, I became enamored by them. They united my family, who also slowly became invested in them; we had more to talk about, cry about, be happy about. Outsiders would immediately say they're untalented at first glance, because that was what I thought too, but it's not true. They are certainly not perfect, and they know it. But I think what makes them so charming is their willingnness to absorb the criticism/comparisons and continuing working hard - growing from a group barely known by anyone to a city wide sensation.

so i live in hong kong and i have to walk through a mall to get to the train station, and my dad would drop me off before walking back to our apartment. however, one day, when my dad was walking back, he got up to the third floor and saw around 50 women and girls in this one area right next to the escalator. later on when he was going to get lunch, from the same mall, he can just hear 75-100, possibly more, young women and girls screaming from that same area where he was earlier that morning. when he was walking back, he asked one of the security guards what was happening, and the security guard said "mirror", and my dad, not knowing who they were, got back to the apartment building and asked the people at reception "who is mirror?". when i got back to the mall after school, i saw that they had this thing set up (sorry i don't know how to explain it), and so i took a photo of it and upon showing that photo to my dad, he told me what he had seen earlier in the day. i finally knew who these guys that were, and still are EVERYWHERE, and who one of my classmates were slightly obsessed with.

As a fan since I was P3, I have to admit that Mirror is the most successful idol of this decade, at least. I'm not saying Eason Chan, Twins are not popular, but they actually give up on HK market, and earn RMB in China like the clip has mentioned. We are having enough, why don't we choose someone who willing to stay in Hong Kong, and that's Mirror.:) J-Pop was dominating Asia during 2000 something but ended, or let say vanished, at 2008 or 2009. K-Pop suddenly showed up and gave the world the loudest clap. Canton-Pop was popular at 80s or 90s, but all of them had gone at the beginning of 21st century. I was, and still am a crazy J-Pop & K-Pop fan, I'm a fan of Hey!Say!JUMP, KAT-TUN, Seventeen, BTS, etc. How's Mirror raised up? I would said it more likely because Hong Kong's current situation and lockdowns. We can't leave Hong Kong, and I believe that most of the fans are keeping the same faith like me since 2019. Mirror has Gwyneth Ho''s promotion, along with the song "Warrior" launched, many of HKers "get into" them. At least, we are not teasing them anymore, more likely respecting them to sing such a song under that situation. It has been almost two years that no one can go travelling or escaping from here. What we can still do is to find something what makes you forget about the news, forget about the shit what our beloved government build everyday. All I want to say is, I am proud to be a HKer, and proud to be one of their supportor.
