Aussie here. I been watching Postecoglou teams for decades and the guy cant coach a defense to save his life. He also has a massive ego and an inability to tolerate criticism. Dont be distracted by his chilled out demeanor. Thats just Aussie stuff that Aussies can see thru from a mile off. His ego is giant and he will fall out with fans and media and go down in a flaming wreck. Just counting the days.
Spurs fan here, and he seems useless. From the first game of the season I remember thinking this football looks fun but will never be successful. That was before I learnt he has barely a plan a let alone a plan b, the coaching is hopeless because he doesn’t have his own proper team, he doesn’t even consider tactics based on the opposition. I could go on and on. And we will no doubt waste another 200m this summer buying more average players to play his ‘system’. Nightmare.

This is the problem with the modern fan, lack of patience. Its Ange's first season in the EPL and the step from SPL to EPL is big. Let him learn from his mistakes and continue building this team and Spurs might win their first trophy since 2008

I am very concerned at the denial and Ange mania from so many of our fans. We won 8 from 10 and showed the prem league our hand, decent coaches exploited it and the results tell the story, Ange said three things on his many press confernces. 1. I don't really care much about top 4 2. Set pieces dont really matter 3. I am sure that some players and some staff are not full onboard with my system Wtf guys wake up, Ange is not a PEP and I am not convinced this system will challenge the top 3 or win the Prem. We did not have the top 4 wrapped up LOL, decent coaches tactically beat us ! So many fans have to realise POSSESION means nothing !

Did Arsenal progress until the 3rd years of Arteta ?. Why are you expecting a miraculous progress from others especially after few months on the job. Also if Arsenal don’t win any trophy this season (5th season) you have not progress because Wenger was 2nd severally and was making Top 4 for so many seasons, still you guys want him out.
Arteta had a much harder job at progressing the team as he had to progress the club as well. If you look at the players arsenal had for the first 2 years compared to what ange had in 2 months. Arteta had to buy players and build and keep getting a better squad.
Arteta joined the club having never managed before joined end of Dec 2019, had no pre season whatsoever, went and won a trophy 28 games in. Results were very hit and miss without a doubt but he wasn’t one style like Ange is. Arteta knew he didn’t have the players to play how he wanted so went 3 at the back with the wing backs. Arteta also wasn’t allowed to spend money until his 3rd transfers window whereas Ange spent £200 mil

The difference is Postecoglou has a 20yr record of producing teams that can't defend and a 20yr inability to tolerate criticism because of his massive ego.

Arteta spent, what, 70m in his first 2 seasons? And he came halfway through in his first season, and it was his FIRST JOB. They always progress 1st season or make excuses that's the 1st season of the coach which happens every other season (once every 2 years), because in their 2nd season they always fire their coach. It's repetitive. Meaning: next year we'll have defining season on Ange Postecoglu when he has to divide his team's efforts between PL and Europe, not this one when he coached only for The PL and he'll also have time to have prepared the team well.

Both ange and erik ten hag are on opposite ends of the spectrum but on the extreme end. That is why both are failing. Ange is overally stubborn and ten hag is yet to develop a style. You should have a specific style of play but at the same time show adaptability and flexibility. Both have failed to find this balance, ultimately culminating in their downfall.

Actually, it's pretty decent (I hate to say)... 2 draws against Arsenal and Brentford and the 8 wins were against Bournemouth, Manchester United, Liverpool (controversial one), Sheffield United, crystal palace, Fulham, Burnley and Luton
