I think this is one of the reasons why idols in general, won’t date even if they can and in turn, then end up feeling very, very lonely. Even when there are people who support you, the people who will try to drag you down is probably twice the amount.
in 2018 momo was 22, and she started training at 15 (2012) imagine not being able to have romance for 7 years, and when you finally get it you have to live with the anxiety of being an active idol dating. it’s so dehumanizing, she deserves to have a private life without the backlash :( edit: i just thought of jihyo who started training at 8 :/

@@justthisgirl2944 unfortunately as international fans, not much. if anything the majority of international fans make it worse by adding more rumors. i realized though, when jeongyeon gained weight, a lot of the support was from the international side. so like that example, just being a normal healthy and supportive fan is the most we can do 🤷♀️
I am 21 and i never had a relationship with any girl in my lifetime . It does feel lonely to not be in a relationship with opposite sex . Its feels something inside me is empty .

Some people in the comments need to understand they didn’t want their relationship to be announced and out in the public. People over here saying,“the joke wasn’t even that bad,” are simply ignorant to the situation going on. Their relationship had just recently been announced and the MC made a joke, in front of the thousands of people at the Award show saying Heechul would be super happy to see someone there, he pointed to where the idols were, where Twice was. It was heavily implied and obvious that he was talking about Momo so he then proceeded to say Super Junior! You can see Heechul didn’t find it funny nor did Twice. Their relationship was already receiving a lot of judgment from the media, so now their relationship they didn’t want to be public was put on blast in front of thousands and millions at home to see. It’s completely understandable why Momo would cry, I couldn’t imagine the anxiety she must’ve had feeling like everyone was watching her. It must’ve felt terrible. 💔

Their relationship was made known to the public so the MC was saying stuff like "Heechul is only looking at one table tonight" and like reminding everyone. And they both looked visibly upset because it was still soon after they broke up. Edit: I made a mistake, they were still dating when this happened, and they were just upset that the MC had drawn attention to the dating scandal as a joke.

He's one of the best MC hosts in Korea (including Yoo Jae Seok). But I honestly dislike him because he doesn't really care much about the words he said. I remember watching shows he MC-ed, some guests are offended by the words he said. He's acting like he's best host alongside Yoo Jae Seok. (eventually no one can beat Yoo Jae Seok in getting his title "BEST MC IN KOREA") EDIT: what i mean in best mc in korea, the kindest and generous, plus the best professional mc.
