The Dc-15A Dc blaster carbine Dc-17M and the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon are four of my favorite blasters in star wars
The carbines name is DC-15A in canon and DC-15S in Legends. Sadly someone decided to change the names slightly between canon and legends.
The Z - 6 rotary cannon has always been considered my favorite Star Wars blaster.

Same. It always looks cool when heavy, hardcase, and thorn had it.
@@swargchikani4130 agreed, rapidfire, and a lot of size on it make it look good. In fact, if a power pack was strapped to it and put on the persons back, it might help the weapon run indefinitely without its reloading problem. Though this is just my fan theory.
I also like the Westar.
The DC-17 dual was the GOAT of all loadouts

The DC-15S carbine has to be the number one fictional weapon i want to own in real life. I just love how compact it is and reliable it looks
I mean you can get close by just getting a sten gun reproduction, it's what the stormtroopers use.
Dual dc-17s are definitely one of my favourites
DC-15A, DC-17M, Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon, Reciprocating Quad Blaster Cannon, and PLX-1 Portable Missile Launcher are my favorite. Versatile rifles and heavy weapons are my go to Star Wars weapons.
From what I understand, the DC-15A rifle has a sniper configuration where the entire barrel of the blaster can rotate so the scope is on top. It also has a bipod.
Bad batch season 3 shows this variant with some of the rogue clones and the clones working alongside Wolfe
Big fan of the Westar M5 with its firing options and and ability to outfit different attachments. I've never seen a list for attachments but I'd like to think it could have some sort of vibro blade so it could be used like the Mark 2 Lancer from Gears of War. Z-6 is also amazing because you get the advantage of having a rapid fire rotary cannon with out the disadvantage of lugging around a huge ammo pack

I believe the rifle was more based on the shape of the MG42, but I could be wrong as they were both used heavily in WW2. Minor issue but as always a good video. The reason whoever was in charge of the costume department went with the MG42 or 34 and the STEN was likely because they could get deactivated ones super cheap in the 1970's when star wars debuted. And considering it was the 1970's and prior to that there were lots of ww2 films made they may not have been deactivated as US firearms regulations weren't nearly as stringent as they are now regarding machine guns of any sort. I mean Han Solo's pistol was a dressed up Mauser c96. And there were some that were just a straight up cosmetically altered but fully functional pistol. Jerry Miculek has a video where he fires one on his channel here on youtube

ngl I think one of my favorite bits of Star Wars is how 90% of the guns were just old World War Both era guns with random scrap bolted on. Makes them futuristic enough as no non-gun weeb will recognize them but gun weebs will take one look and start nerding out about the basis

I love All of the Clone Trooper weapons, without an Abso-fraking-lute doubt The DC-15A, DC-17M, and the Z-6 Rotary are the 3 I would use, no question

I can’t remember where it was said but the DC-15S Side Arm is kind of the ultimate survival weapon. The quote was something along the lines of “Yeah, it’s power is kinda lacking but when you have unlimited ammo…”

Frodo’s DC17s we’re actually DC-17S Blaster pistols, and those things in the front weren’t suppressors, but made the blaster more powerful

I can see a jedi getting so many flashbacks after seeing a purger trooper because they’re using dc-15a blaster rifles and wearing armor like paratroopers

May fave, and the one I'd use would be the DC-17 hand blaster, and I'd use two of them.
Just for reference, the DC-15S is highly similar to Robocop's custom 1911, as well as the FarCry series AJM auto pistol.
My favourite blaster is the bc-15le i think it's goat i my a heavy gunner i like the firepower but also that you can use it for further distance but the z-6 rotary blaster cannon is a close second
While i don't like how the DC15X is used as a sniper and imo should be used like the the gun it looks like irl (The mg42) i still love it because the mg42 is my favorite

My biggest gripe with the dc-15s is that none of the clones in the show ever uses the foldable stock. It pisses me off because it is really hard to shoot a with a stock. You almost need a stock in to be able to control a rifle
Imagine if the dc-15a blaster and all the other clone trooper weapons were built in real life but with bullets instead blue plasma bolts.

I feel like with how many times the DC-15LE and the Z-6 have gotten me through tough fights in battlefront 2 I have to pick them (although I wouldn’t say no to DC-17 pistols or the DC-15M)
my husband who served in the military and a private security company he head’s always thought a harnesss similar to the Aliens smartgun should of been worn by the user of this weapon. Makes more sense doesn’t it

Yeah, the GAR's arsenal was pretty good. Not as good as the Empire's for sure, but they have some really great stuff, like those Westars, Z6s, PLX launchers, and the DC 15A was a good basis for the Empire's later improvements.

One of my favorite and most prized collectibles is a "Sneak Preview - Attack of the Clones: Clone Trooper" action figure which is packaged to include the standard DC-15A Blaster Rifle and attachable blaster bolt. I've uploaded a KZhead short video of the figure for anyone who would like to see it.

Don't wanna be that guy but this video has some outdated information. The names of some of these blasters have been changed over the years, such as the "DC-15A" is actually the "DC-15". There is no more "DC-15S" in canon anymore, the carbine is referred to as the "DC-15A". This was all changed due to an episode in TCW season 2 and has been the case ever since.
In bf2 they are named differently.
