There are lots of tutorials for almost everything, but a beginner learns better from the beginners point of view and how he attempted it and it is much more helpful than watching a pro to show you the trick. especially the approach to lock the cracks with the toes looks very convincing to me and I definitely going to try this... thanks a lot

Been struggling on committing to this trick for a looong time, I learned pull up bars in a few days and have sadly, been doing these for almost a year. Ill be going out tomorrow morning and trying this trick until I get it. Updating when I learn it, thanks guys!

If you can pull up bar, then you are definitely capable of landing a hop barspin. If you commit, then you got it! Look forward to hearing how it goes and good luck!

It helps to start out on a hard surface then hop onto the grass when you do the trick

@@JosiahOchoa tried off and on for a few days but i cant commit and its making me extremely angry. i tried hopping and taking both hands off and that worked, but i cant spin its all mental..

@@julianduzbmx keep on training. When angry do a pause. One day or some hours. Make breaks. It’s something with brain and how it processes memories. Even muscle memory. It needs a break here and there and it will learn faster. But it needs to pause first. You can do it. Much respect ✊

@@julianduzbmx Trust me, I've been there. I struggled to commit for months. But then I became determined to land it and started trying it every single day until I got it. It takes dedication! Once you throw it its all progress from there. Another idea for you since you can pull up bar; maybe you can try hitting a pull up bar off of a ledge, out of a bank, or out of a fly out to get you more comfortable with the feeling of throwing a bearskin with both tires coming off the ground.

i prefer not to pinch your heel to the cranks it will broke your heel just get a nice fat seat and freaking pinch it. and austin didn't pinch the cranks. just get comfortable with your hop while pinching the seat and practice pull up barspin and if you get very comfortable throwing the bars, then try a bunnyhop barspin. just don't get afraid to throw the bars.
@arnold2072 Жыл бұрын
yes, pinching the cranks can definitely give you some pain on your heel. But if you do it right I’ve found that your feet absorb the impact on your pedals when you land rather than your heel. Being scared is definitely the biggest issue I had when learning. Commitment is key!

You dont have to catch the bars while you're rolling. The forward momentum will straighten the bars.

Back in my day, we pinched our seats with our knees. I miss these days and super fat railed seats

I just started trying throwing bars. I keep throwing the front end away, but I’m able to get the spin around. Once I figure out how to keep the bike level I think I’ll be able to catch

if you learn switch bars, it will make tossing the bars while spinning easier than a tire grab

@@JosiahOchoaI’m clueless by this as well, as everything I’ve ever been told is switch bars when doing your normal spin rotation can actually feel & be more difficult than throwing the bars the oppo way you spin (the regular way). Spinning the same direction as your bars adds some strange feeling physics in there

how do i commit to throwing them? i can bhop really comfortably and i can barspin on my friends scooter but i cant commit to throw them on my bike. pls help
@archa2472 Жыл бұрын
I would say make sure you are wearing pads and a helmet. It helps give you the confidence to throw them. You also need to hype yourself up before hand with music or something. Since you can barspin a scooter, You could potentially try pull up bars to get used to the motion on a bike. Helps some people but not everyone. You could also position your feet and get your knees back prior to jumping a fly out or something bigger that way you can just focus on the barspin. I think the main thing though is getting hyped up before you throw the bars. I couldn’t commit for a long time until I just really focused, got hyped, and was determined to get it. Good luck!

Sorry to hear it. I would say just make sure to pad up and put on a helmet, then try the trick where you are most comfortable. You can also get friends and some music to hype you up. Most importantly, if you want to learn to barspin you have to be persistent
