@@AP-bo1if i think the third goal was taking a chance in the volley, he knew he won't be able to dribble with 3 defenders blocking him, so he took the shot and he got lucky with the keeper
Robert Lewandowski must win Ballon D'or this season! Nobody deserves it more than he does. He won Bundesliga and the Cup with Bayern. He was best scorer in both: Bundesliga with 34 goals (and also is best scorer in top 5 European Leagues (european golden boot). He was best scorer in German Cup. He is also best scorer in Champions League with 11 goals. To sum up - Bayern Munich may win all this season (Bundesliga, Cup and Champions League) and in all these competitions Lewandowski will end as best striker. It's just impossible to do more!

When it comes to golden boot I think Immobile will overtake him, he still got around 8 or 9 games left to catch up to him and the difference isn't that big but other than that I 100% agree he should get it as there is no one I can think of this season that was better than him. Best number 9 in the world 51 goals in a season so far is crazy

Lewandowski is the best striker in the world, there's no doubt about it he gotta be a serious contender for the Ballon d'Or this year
Serious contender is a huge understatement, he's currently the favorite by far as he is the top scorer of the UCL, Bundesliga and DFB Cup. Even if Bayern somehow chokes the second leg against Chelsea (which they wouldn't) this guy should still win the Ballon d'Or because he has been that good. Unless Messi suddenly turns on god mode which we know he can and wins the League + UCL, I don't see anyone coming close to this man this season. It would be an absolute robbery if anyone else wins it.

Thinking what a player RL9 has been this season I have another thought that , the number of goals or performances he has given were given by Messi and Ronaldo for more then a decade and we were so used to watch them taking all. Now they are at the end of their career and Lewa is at his prime. Soon new players will come and ballon d'or will again be a public property to win unlike the Iconic duo of CR7 and LM10.
