    • •I agree it's a dumb mistake to have made the deer not sense the dino. Real deer would've at least looked. •Despite being blind, it likely had excellent adaptive hearing. •It didn't eat the deer because while it may look like a carnivore, the Therizinosaurs is a theropod with a diet that is exclusive to herbivores (non-meat eaters). The only reason it attacks things is because while they aren't hunters, they are extremely aggressive and territorial, meaning they will kill things regardless if they eat them (which they won't) •In direct quote: Therizinosaurus was a colossal therizinosaurid that could grow up to 9-10 m (30-33 ft) long and 4-5 m (13-16 ft) tall, and weigh possibly over 5 t (5.5 short tons). So it's safe to say it could probably extend itself over water very easily without strain with it's longer upper body.

  • That's a plant eater. No need to hide. Unless you're afraid of being pummeled and not eaten.

  • Such a silly scene in a silly movie. Kills the deer for no reason and then slowly creeps after BD Howard, because making everything move slowly makes it ...scary? They gave the keys to the park to the wrong filmaker for these movies.

    • @Bim 😂 Your comment makes me laugh. But no, the Therizino in this scene is shown to kill the deer to show or illustrate that the Theri, even though it is a plant-eating dinosaur, can be a highly territorial and ruthless creature. The point of killing the deer is to show that even herbivore dinosaurs can STILL be scary and dangerous. I'm sorry that you don't like this movie.
