  • Got to see this setup at CES 2023 earlier this year, and yeah it's rather impressive how large it is and the 3D they were demoing worked very well with the screen size. I'm a bit of a 3D fan, and love seeing projector manufactures still supporting this, it's not hard to implement with these projectors. The tech is already developed and the nature of the projector system has no issues switching between left and right views that fast. Probably why it's also a good gaming projector with lot latency.

The Awol Vision is much more expensive, but given these qualities, there's no contest, it's the most efficient. The aluminum frame looks very sturdy too. Do you know if there is an extra layer of protection to clean it from insect droppings, for example? Because there's bound to be some! 😯. I imagine that to clean it, you'll have to make gentle horizontal movements, as the screen is ALR.

    • @@flowfiya4501 Maybe you're blind because it's clearly not. Only the wall is large. @2:08 you actually see the scale of that room. If you added a small coffee table in the center where that TV is laying. You get a broad idea of the scale of that room if the beige lounging chair wasn't a hint. I just don't see the purpose of having such a large TV if you are sitting that close to it. Yet to each their own.

  • Is the screen black or white? I think a black screen would have a better contrast and glare reduction than a white screen. How far the projector has to be? I would like to see a laser projector having the capability to be flush against the wall and shoot it’s beams upwards but such a technology doesn’t exist.

  • If it wasn't for the poor motion resolution, these would be incredible and probably the most desirable large screen for the money there is, if they ever produce a Triple RGB glass lens mOLED (with 1000+ PPI) laser projector with a high refresh rate and at least 1ms of MPRT, for under 2 grand (not including screen obviously), I'd buy it, they could utilize BFI for one, which will help raise motion resolution/clarity, I'm not sure how strobing works with laser projectors, would they have to strobe the mOLED module or the lasers, my guess is both, but a non sample and hold 8K triple RGB laser with a 1000 PPI or more impulse modulated projector would be incredible, would not be surprised if it outperformed even the best CRT projectors.
