  • Not sure if it was mentioned by anyone else, but if you pick up 2 or 3 more chains, you can draw as many logs to the board as your tractor can handle, leaving them choked and then hooked to the board, then lift and drag several logs at once. You have a great tool there, might as well get the most out of it.

  • I could have used that years ago. I used to pull around telephone poles for parking and crowd control around a 50-acre property with a front-end loader. The longer the chain was, the safer it was to travel, until the pole dug into the ground. The shorter chain gave much better control but sacrificed safety. Why was there a chain wrapped around the PTO shaft?

  • Hi, I’m new to your channel. Enjoy your content. Questions: I’m curious about the amount of firewood you make. I saw where you have many stacks/piles of firewood. Do y’all go through that much firewood in your fire pit on your porch each winter? Do you also sell firewood? Just wondering if that’s a lucrative side business for all of the expensive equipment and hard labor. Just generally curious. Thanks in advance.

    @CC-hw7ei@CC-hw7ei7 ай бұрын
    • Welcome to the channel. We burn about 4-5 cords a year. Everything else will be processed for next year to sell and for our needs. You need high volume sales to make firewood worthwhile as a business, it's a lot of work for decent money. With that said there is other ways to turn wood into something more profitable. I'll be showing a lot of that on the channel this winter.

I do have a question or 2….. since you’ve have it for a while, would you change anything about it and have you hook up to anything that it wouldn’t pull? I’m real close to pulling the trigger on one of these and am just doing my due diligence on getting info. Thanks and if you’d want to talk on the phone about it then that’d be great. I’m in south east Ohio and live on 40 acres and burn around 10 cords a year in my hardy stove for the last 20 years and there are always trees I just can’t get to because of the terrain….. this seems like it’d work awesome for me at an unbelievable price.
