One crucial aspect overlooked is a feature present in Printful but possibly absent in Printify - the ability to personalize your packing slips. This customization option allows you to incorporate features such as your logo, store's contact information, and a brief message. Moreover, even if you choose not to personalize your packing slips, Printful ensures there is no branding from their end on the packaging.
Printify does have the personal card you can add to your package, but I didn’t know their name is visible in the packaging?
I just recieved 2 sample hats from printify from "my company name" No "Printify" showing on manifest.

I've been using Printify and it's just so painful. Every time I change a title, mockup image, or any detail of my products it instantly gives a publishing error with the only fix being redesigning the product from scratch. I just cannot explain how much I truly hate this platform.
It's worth mentioning that Printful is a lot easier to deal with when it comes to international shipping. Have been using Printful for the past few months and have zero complaints.

Printify has the option to automatically have your designs sent to the closest supplier to your customer. So far I've sent shirts to Germany Mexico Amsterdam and now I have a shirt going out to New Zealand all printed near the customer to help reduce shipping cost😎😎😎

I like to mitigate risk as much as possible. Printful seems the way to go.
Printful has been great for quality for us. The images designed look just as good in person. Do heed the warnings about image sizes that Printful gives in the design phase. They are very helpful. I have been impressed with their duffels and backpacks, in addition to the t-shirts.

This video highlights something that I find increasingly annoying. How people rate things. 7.6 is a bad rating, but if it wasn't for this push to give everything 5/5 or 10/10 it should signify an above average score. The score for just getting the job done with no extras and no screw ups should be 2.5/5 or 5/10 not top score gold standard for average performance. The top scores should be reserved just for the truly exceptional. I know everybody complies to the idiotic top score for anything not terrible methodology, so there is nothing we can do, but it does drive me around the bend. Sorry, rant over LOL

Well put, because that number that some entity decided was a quality-threshold line shows an average of the fulfillment process. It doesn't mean every order has a chance of going wrong; or every print is lackluster, it's just an average of customer satisfaction, which counts a lot in the online marketing world.. I've hand-printed t-shirts for over 30 years, and I can say from definitive experience that the knowledge of the actual printer, and the quality of the print have a lot to do with repeat customers. My buddy's shop is busy like crazy because both he and I are both quality-first oriented. I'm a little OCD, so all the printed shirts I've ever sold(my original designs) were tees I'd wear myself regarding the print and location. I've seen other printers with 'Left-chest' placement up-and-down that side of the shirt, and I've seen many rough or slightly-off images for sale, because the average buyer couldn't tell; however, discerning ones point it out easily. Print quality has a lot to do with how well and how long the print remains clear & bright too. Thin prints wash out quicker; and poor design placement, with the design too high, too low, or off-center, reflect on the seller. For t-shirt printing - go with the highest quality printer you can find - they're worth the price. A lot of my tees on my future etsy shop will be printed locally at my buddy's place in Littlestown, Md., before I give Printful a go; and then I'm going to do a hassle & quality comparison. Find a local screen printer if you don't trust POD; it's a lot more inconvenience regarding stock and shipping, but it'll ease your mind if you're having print-quality issues.

I started with Printful, then I switch to Printify due to prices, but it got me headaches because lots of time there was no stock, or something happened (this was some time ago, maybe now is better), so then I change again back to Printful seeing that my designs are very colorful and I want the best quality and colors, and consistency! Glad to see more people choosing Printful! It looks like everyone on YT is recommending Printify this days.

Im new to POD and like everything, I analyze and do tons of research. I couldnt decide between the two for the very reasons this video was made. I will be using Printful moving forward for 85% of my items.
I appreciate the clear and concise explanation of both Printify and Printful. As someone spoke on earlier, all I hear about is Printify which would lead you to believe that it has a better track record than what was shown here. Now, in all fairness, we know that some could assume that this attempting to place Printify in a negative light, however, I don't. I only see a visual example that many people would make and possibly be disappointed with. I'm grateful for being able to be shown the example than to have lived it. For me, these companies that offer Printify as a part of a business plan attempting to be "helping" to business owners are giving me concern if this is the quality you can potentially get from using the service. Looks like more vetting from them needs to happen to ensure that the business owners and other customers are taken care of as well as we as consumers need to spend a little more time researching before choosing companies to outsource to.
Thanks for sharing your opinion on both. I had already chosen one of these to open my store and I'm very happy with the results. You also responded to a couple of questions I had about them, one of them being the fact that one does literally everything for you, and the other one outsources the manufacturing process to a third party. I think both are really good overall, but I'd rather pay a little more for a better product in terms of quality, especially since I'm saying this thinking on the consumer. Anyways, thanks a lot for the honest review.

When I first started my shop I fizzled out due to being unable to show 3D designsvon Etsy for the art associated with AI Art products which I was trying to sell stickers. Then my Corporate job became too demanding and my energy fizzled out. I'm restarting this journey and looking for best practices.

The days on printify are 2.9 or 2.31 (less than 3 days).... not 2 - 9 or 2 - 31 days. Also, you can state that you want only US options listed.

Great call out. I was going to mention this as well. It's also worth noting that one of the reasons Printify offers providers in different countries is so that you can route orders to different providers based on the location of the order to keep shipping costs low. It's certainly not best practice to order overseas if you don't have to because shipping will really drive up the cost. There's exceptions of course, especially with certain items (like some AOP stuff, for example) that are only available from one provider.

A good analysis of the two POD providers - I've used Printful in the past and have been satisfied with the quality (my favorite t-shirts I wear all the time) of the samples. Printify seems a bit risky and I would rather avoid customer complaints and charge backs.

Thank you this video was so helpful we ordered from printify our examples and we got two work shirts that come in and one was way more faded than the other one! And they come from the same company and was made at the same time
Moral of the story... Always order a test product. Don't send out awful stuff. It's worth spending a little more to keep people returning to your business. Printful seems to always be reliable, but it's a lot more expensive. But Printify seems to be a hit or miss depending on the supplier you pick. You can find good quality at cheaper prices here.

looking in the long term prinful is better. If you want to achieve a difficult goal discipline beats motivation. printify is more like: you gain some you loose some, but you gain and loose alot more than prontful. (If you loose with printful). Printify: quick money or loose money if doing wrong. Printful: consistent slow growth

I tried Printify and the colors faded after one wash. I could never sell this quality to customs. So I wanted to find a new supplier, and your video helped me do that! Thank you. This was just what I needed and saved me time and money. I currently use Printful but was looking into printify for faster and less expensive. I will stick with printful for consistency and quality.
Printify also has the same; I have used Printful for years and moved years ago to Printify. Monster Digital in Printify is one of the best printers for its fast production, consistency, and quality. It got 2 expensive, and you can't, and I mean very hard, make a profit most times in Printful, and don't forget the Etsy fees, etc. The example here is good, but you have to choose a USA provider in Printify and not just select the cheapest. And compare shirts that are known like Bella 3001 and Gildan 64000- IN the end order samples, read reviews and to decide :) Another player in the last few years is Awkward styles... Great T-shirts' QUALITY and options in the U.S.

The issue with these comparisons is that you really can’t compare every single provider from printify… I guess since Printful does it all themselves it’s easier to compare but printify has so many providers that you can land on a good or a bad one so it’s kind of like trial and error….

Nice video. Just keep in mind that in the average production time 2.9 doesn't mean it will take 2 to 9 days to produce. It means it will take almost 3 days on average to produce it.

Thank you for this great video review. I was leaning towards Printify until i watched this. Just this past Monday i received 2 sample hats from Printify which cost me about $60. The hats i ordered where with velcro backing, which isn't my favorite personally because I'm into the flexfit hat myself but woman friends tell me they like the velcro ones for adjusting to their hair. I was not impressed with the embroidery hat you recieved. Quality is most important so I'm glad to have seen this video and also people's comments here mean alot as well. Thansk everyone, i am heading to Printful for samples now.

Very good, thanks, i read a couple reviews about Printful, people say their products sometimes are bigger like a got M polo, but it was like a L size and to thin that i could see the back of the embroidered logo, and i read a lot of reviews like that, what you think?

yo have the same issue I had. You can only upload one image at a time. I made a tool to fix this issue (only on Printify).
It was good information and I like to see comparisons. The one thing you touch a little on but can be a significant issue is selling internationally. I would never select an international supplier unless the item was very unique, because of time and shipping cost. I thought it was a little miss leading selecting the Latvia supplier when there were several others in the USA that would have been more comparable. All in All good information and advice about ordering samples.

Indeed - actually made me wonder whether Printful pays higher affiliate comissions as this came across somewhat biased which is not great in terms of credibility. Matter of fact I have no idea - this and a few other less- objective clues just sort of triggered my bs radar (edit: spelling)

You can use both of them for the same store :)
Using a simple and less costly web page that has the quality you expect your customers to see as well as receive quality . And it’s better to simply have a working store that eatables a product that has success . Rather than a ton of products and so many details to figure out . Rather than focusing on the products and company supplies quality and mail cost all being found in one page less hassle less cost and links all being tied to one web page . That will not become a issue with any closing of ones account do to a possible difference in product number or other slightly difference web page info . That the platform may find using today’s automated AI rapid and total verification and information data scans that could take your web page down for a few days while reviewing the reasons and reinstatement process that some may even take longer than seven days . When a larger number of web stores are submitted especially when new upgrades are added to all the members With a verity of small hard to find reasons are needed to be identified in many reviewed web store review process .

So I ordered a few things from both and Printiful's clothing and apparel had a horrible smell. Definitely needed a few washes to get the smells out. With Printify I've had shipping issues that are harder to resolve then I thought it would be
I’ve not had that problem with Printful before, but I suggest an extra rinse cycle with white vinegar for fabric softener for any odors on clothes.

I didn't try Printify yet, but so far had bad experience with Printful with provider from Latvia, hoodies not centered and poor printing quality. So most important is finding a good printer and not the service provider itself.
Me too! I've been having the same complaints and issues with Printful lately. The quality of the garments, print quality and customer service have gone significantly downhill in the past year. Worse, there is absolutely no accountability! Getting them to issue a refund for their mistake is not even worth the trouble, because they just argue with you about how much they are allowed to be "off". It's so frustrating! I'm going to try out Printify to see if it's worth the switch.

For all my new listings, I'm going to use Printify so we'll see how it goes! We're in February now and I'm still dealing with the same crap from Printful. Slow fulfillment times - now they say it's because of the weather. Whatever! I refuse to recommend them to anyone!

As an indian, selling locally using printful is monstrously impossible...people here spend aroun a 1000 inr here for clothing, which is less than printful's shipping cost let alone the base clothing rate...my clothes better be the quality of zara if i have to sell the clothes at 6x the regular prices

Can I use 1 Printify printing account for two unrelated Etsy shops? None of the stores are integrated with Printify. I place orders on Printify manually, and then I mark the order on Etsy shops as completed using the tracking number from Printify. Will Etsy be able to determine by tracking numbers that 2 Etsy shops are using the Printify account of the same person? For example, will Etsy be able to determine the name or email of the sender by the tracking number? I need to know this so that both Etsy stores don’t get banned for having multiple accounts.

I like the dad hat style from Printify better but the logo sucked. I think with Printify it depends on who you choose to fulfil your orders. Monster Digital and Swift(?) are super popular.
